Not being fwd would be better.

It's Haldex
>>
>>28689832
So FWD most of the time, followed by sending not enough power to the rear if the front wheels start to lose traction. That's so much better.

These cars have tainted Swedish roads for too long.

I highly recommend his YouTube channel, it's one of my favourite every if you like seeing cars being wrenched and built. 10/10 production value. Has a miata and Audi on top of the Volvo's

I love this cope and it gets posted every single time. 95% of wagons I see on the road transport air in the back. You don't need all that extra space for that once in 5 years need to get something slightly bigger from the store to your house, especially when it makes the car look extra gay. Retards convinced themselves wagons are actually cool because they got forced to buy one by their wives and other retards, who have never even touched a girl, repeat this bullshit.
>>
>>28689991
anon, if you want a wagon it's not that hard to get one.

People should also learn to live without hauling around five thousand kilos of garbage. You're going for a weekend trip, you don't need to bring your 55' TV.

I will never understand why people can't travel light. I always only take the absolute necessities with me because I can't be bothered packing all that shit fifteen thousand times over the trip.

I'm on my 4th Volvo long roof. 3x V70 (P2 T5; P2 diesel; P3 diesel D5 SE and now a V60 CC T5 Polestar)
Such a good all-rounder, but I think the V60 is inferior to my P3 V70. Best of the bunch was the P2 V70 T5 - epic car.
>>
>>28689824
My family had a $1000 V70 base 2.4 NA 5-speed with 350k miles and iPD sway bars. Very comfortable car, Volvo always had amazing seats. Great handling too for a FWD shitbox. Engine was tired but it cornered flat on the sway bars and was a fun momentum car. Filled the back with firewood once until the suspension bottomed out. Filled the back with all my stuff and moved 3 hours away after leaving college. The V70s had issues with the ECUs, I think the alternator supplied bad power which eventually fried them. Ours had an incurable emissions fault and was sold to someone out of state when we couldn't fix it enough to renew the emissions on it.

It's almost as if people adapt to limitations. IMO it also makes travels more fun not bringing my whole home along. When I travel with flights, I only bring carry-on baggage. Even when I take the car somewhere, there is generally a ton of space left because what point is there travelling if you're bringing your whole home with you?

I would like to know all these SUV/Wagon owners how many times per year they actually fill up their cars and what exactly isn't just a lot of leftover shit they don't bother to take out of the car because there is space there.

Pre-2010 Volvos have aged very nicely.
>>
>>28690431
It's been downhill since they axed the 5 cylinder but kept it's badging for whatever reason.
Imagine if dodge put out a Challenger SRT8 that actually came with a 4 cylinder hybrid. Just trying to coast on the fact that the badge used to mean something.
>>
>>28690503
I don't disagree - that 5-pot and its wail were iconic. A bit thirsty, as I believe the head design meant it had to be overfuelled to avoid it running hot and burning valves.
Ford liked it so much they stole it for the Focus, but you can do that when you own the company.

Their I4 and I6 at the time used the same basic design as well. Volvo killed the Modular Engine in 2016 and replaced it with the VEA and SI6.

>I would like to know all these SUV/Wagon owners how many times per year they actually fill up their cars
Maybe once in two years I can guarantee. Like I said I basically never see any wagons actually loaded up here. My dad also bought a wagon for some retarded reason like 5 years ago and he has never actually loaded it up fully. The dumb ass reasoning to buy a wagon is "you might need it to haul something big sometime" but more often than not it never happens and when it does you can just pay some courier monkey to do it for you and even make him carry the things wherever you need.
>>28690494
What is this even supposed to mean?
