GM is retarded, ignoring the fact that they deliberately ran Holden at a loss and cooked the books so they could get government subsidies. After Holden ceased operations, why didn't they just have commodores or some other RWD full size sedan built in Thailand and import it to australia?

bogans 100% would buy a foreign made commodore if it was RWD and had a V8.

Holden wanted the ZF commodore to have a V8 option but Opel/GM refused.
Holden was doomed anyway and would have shut down no matter when eventually but it would have kept the company on life support for a few more years at least.
