how difficult/expensive would it be to actually fix a rusted junkyard truck?I know there's a lot of assumptions that need to be made here, but let's say "optimistically" how actually possible is it?
Harder and more expensive than buying a running truck in the first place.

could you do it?
>>28691835The engine will generally run. You may have to do some work with it but it should be possible to make it move and run even if it's 100 years old. Everything else it depends on what you call fix. Let's say the frame is rusted. You can technically take the entire thing apart, take measurements and reweld it from fresh material. Do you have the time, skills, patience and workshop space to do that? I doubt it
>>28691835A question that general means that not only do you not know enough to pick the right junker, you have no chance at all of fixing it.
