Going to buy a 2026 convertible corvette LT2. Thinking of just getting the Z51 package since it comes with a spoiler and active exhaust which are really the only 2 things I want. I figure I may as well spend a couple extra grand for the package since those two separately would cost a couple grand. Going to also get lug locks. Anything else I should consider? I want to get it in purple. I ask jealous poor fags to please not shit up the thread. The same kind of poor fag that damages nice vehicles because if they cant have it then no one should. I also ask rich fags to not shit up the thread, youre as bad as the envious poor fags. Only real downside to the car is that I cant leave it out of my sight when I go out because of poor fags who cant stand others having nice things they cant afford.

1 stop obsessing over other people
2 are you buying a car off the lot or ordering

the way you post makes you sound like a retarded troll

Seems reasonable.
Pretty smart timing as there are a TON of regular stingrays out there and heavy downward pricing pressure.
HTC= great choice, LT2-great choice.
Color is whatever.. I wouldnt have that be a make/break if you get a great deal on some other colors. Definitely cross shop nationally as you'll prob be able to get a great deal.
Also hate to tell you but if you drive it, it's gonna get chips, dents, scuffs, etc. Just the way it is. It's a mass produced consumer commodity, dont worry too much about it.
Good luck

^ oh meant to add... you might even get great pricing on 2025 model since theres still lots of them unsold.
GM pulled a GM and took the buttons off the button wall but left the fuckin wall there. Absolute retards.

Depends on what's on the lot

You realize there are people with half a million dollar cars right? Or do they not exist in your mind either?

Where and how are people getting their car keyed outside of dating literal mental ward patients?
People act like it's some inevitability but nobody I know and no cars I've seen on the road have been a victim of such actions
>>
>>28693352
Don't buy a new one, they will depreciate like a rock because at least 30k a year are being produced.
I daily drive a C7 Corvette with the 3LT package that gives you real smooth leather and I love it, won't get a C8 without it in the future.

My brother has had his car key'd and his tires slashed like 4 times.
And he wonders who I refuse to park in front of our house.
>>

> Anything else I should consider?

why do you want a c8
>>
>>28693352
If you do buy one new you will get a credit to do the Ron Fellows Corvette Driving school for a sharp discount. Its great. If you have the opportunity to do the class on a discount and dont take it you are insane.

Very nice that you have some aesthetic taste and want some actual color to your car.

Do you know that the C8's driving style speaks to your soul, though? It's a very wide car for track stability, but that doesn't translate well into being a fun car on tight twisties. If you're just looking for highway speed and traffic light drag races it should do, but there's no way in hell I'd get a C8 for where I live just because the back roads are way too fun in a smol car.
Before dropping seventy grand on a track car you might want to check whether you're more of a sports car person. You literally might enjoy a $14,000 330i ZHP convertible more for its ability to blast down back roads without worrying that Karen driving her Urban Assault Vehicle a foot over the line will run you off the road.

Can happen if you park in an area enriched by diverse and vibrant urban youths, but it's definitely not a common thing for random strangers to just key cars
You're much, much more likely to get windows smashed in and your glovebox raided

Lot of white GenXers doing petty vandalism here these days. Bitter and jealous, the lot of them.

Not all of us live in the middle of no where like you. Try living in a populated area full of eat the rich faggots in their 500 dollar boots.

I want a C8 because its a sexy fast car thats affordable. 0-60 in under 3 seconds. there are lambos that cant do that

>>28693899

I asked for you poorfags to stay out of my thread

Why would I pay for driving lessons? Im in my 30s
>>

Going to an HPDE event lets you REALLY familiarize yourself with your car, and all you need are a couple hundred bucks (and maybe a helmet).
You can go 150+ mph on the track without risking prison time, corner super aggressively without killing yourself when you mess up, and otherwise learn how to drive the car the way it's meant to be driven as opposed to just doing the occasional highway/stoplight pull.

The HPDE events near me are like $1000. Would love to go to one someday.

Its track driving, with race instructors, and you get to beat on their car instead of yours. Its worthwhile even if your already a trackfag and have a wheel to wheel license.
>>
Z51 is a must have. Gives you so much stuff. E diff, custom Nannies, mag ride. If you can delete mag ride I might do it. The setting on iron springs is really great.
LT2 is really nice and LT3 has some issues with heat.
I’d suggest the clear panel but it can get hot. The second lowest seat is excellent so no need to go for the highest trim.
I’d say paint everything the color and don’t leave it black.

>Delete magride
Good news, its a separate option so you can get a z51 car without paying for mag ride. I have an lt3 z51 with no magride. But i have driven magride cars as well.

My take on that is no regrets on the no magride for a street car, but if someone was going to do alot of track driving I would want it because the mag ride PTM stuff is pretty good.

For trim, lt2 is the sweet spot UNLESS you want the fancy interior options. Its alot of cash for fancy leather and stitching.

I actually ordered an lt2 htc W/magride from GM but my order got all fucked up and when I ended up pivoting into a lot car that was more heavily optioned but no mag ride. So I kind of accidently into an LT3.

The level 2 seats I think are also a must.

Htc is so fucking cool , but its an expensive option so I guess it kind of depends on usecase. But if like crusing with the top down there is no downside other than the cost.

> front end lift
This an expensive option, but its very liberating. I have used it 2 times since April. Both while parking strange places. Both of these situtions were such that without the lift i would have been denied scarce event parking. If your going to road trip in the car and go to weird places its nice.

Nothing wrong with it as long as it's manual transmission.

Get it, my cousin dailies a C8 and his logic is that they're mass produced and costs as much as a premium truck.

Speed wise, holyfuck it was fast, he did a few pulls and I was pushed to the seat, the Gs were so strong that I had a headache that lasted an hour, I was mesmerized, definitely get it if you can.

Here's a pic, I was also surprised that the dash had a G counter but besides that, my car has a 0-60 of 5 seconds and I thought that was fast, his C8 was insane, made my car feel like nothing lol.
