Subaru owners are the opposite of Nissan owners (outside of WRX/BRZ models). Some of the most docile and timid drivers on the road which in many ways is worse than the Altima freak blasting down the highway at 9pm with no working headlights. It's comfortable on the highway. Good enough off road that you aren't going to get stuck unless you are actively going out of your way to find something it can't do. Plenty of room. Safer than every other car on unsafe road conditions.

I have no problem towing my boat with my outback. Full time AWD means i'll always have good traction on the boat ramp. Meanwhile I see guys in truck sliding down boat ramps because they forgot to engage 4wd and half the ramp is covered in slick algae.

The GD's chassis is so much stiffer that it makes the GC look like wet cardboard. It takes so much work (seam welding, roll cage, bolt on bracing, etc) to make a GC merely match the GD that there's no reason to use one as an actual race car unless you absolutely HAVE to have a 2 door.

Why do retards in Subaru threads always wildly exaggerate their numbers to make their point look better? JDM GC to GD WRX, it's 154 pounds. USDM weight comparisons are more difficult to remain fair, as we were denied any turbo GCs, so our naturally aspirated GC weight numbers are artificially lower vs the turbo GDs we did get. USDM Subarus of that vintage also got more reinforcements in the chassis than JDM ones (pic related, the red chunk is USDM) so being fair in that direction is also harder. There isn't a USDM turbo GC to compare weights to, but if you compare a USDM GC 2.5RS to a USDM GD 2.5RS it's also only 195 pounds of difference. The JDM GD WRX also gained 32 hp over a late GC WRX (or for an even wider gap, the USDM GD WRX gained 62 hp over the most powerful USDM GC). Quit your bullshit.
