I got gapped by one of these things, it's so over bros
it looks smug
if i ever have to live in my car i hope it's this one
>>28700654did you loose your pink slip?
>>28700782Just my dignity
It's not over if it never began.
>make van inspired by what broke hippies liked>expensive as hellWhy
>>28700870hippie to yuppie pipeline
>>28700873I guess it makes sense. Chances are if you were a hippie growing up, you've got a lot of disposable dough since anyone with a pulse who was young in that era was set up to be wealthy by now
>>28700654>I got gapped by one of these things,Jeeze man, I'm sorry. My brother fell on a pine cone when he was taking a shit in the woods once; but a whole VW van up your ass is on another level.
>>28700870Holy shit I didn't realize that was where they were priced.Saw one in a parking lot the other day, thought it looked cool. But not for the price of a nice used (insert basically any car here).
>>28700870boomers have money
>>28700870And people wonder why VW is going under.
>>28700654yeah its over because they arent making them anymore
>>28700873Out on the road todayI saw a Deadhead sticker on a cadillacA little voice inside my head said"Don't look backYou can never look back"I thought I knew what love wasWhat did I know? Those days are gone foreverI should just let 'em go, butI can see youYour brown skin shining in the sunYou got your hair slicked backAnd those Aviators on, babyI can tell you my love 4 u will still b strongAfter the boys of summer have gonehttps://youtu.be/Qt6Lkgs0kiU
>>28700870The hippies that promoted peace and love, driving around in the old vans, are now the boomers actively hoarding money and real estate. So this evolution of the van perfectly encapsulates the evolution of the soulless boomer
>>28702310Someone should've dropped a couple of bombs in Woodstock if you ask me.
>>28702300Wow. I didn't know it was possible to make that song any worse, but here we are.
>>28700870They're selling some model of that in my country for (a starting price of) ~53k € to celebrate the importer's anniversary. It's somehow very Volkswagen that they have to mention that it even comes with cruise control and air conditioning.
>>28700870Libyans also liked it
>>28700870>inspired byloosely. I would be money that after a few years there will be a facelift model with round headlights like everyone wanted to double dip on richfags that bought the beta version plus reel in the rest who were put off by the missed nostalgia, there's no way they ruined the look by accident
>>28700870Imagine how much they'd sell as a hybrid with a lower cost
>>28703298How big is the minivan market to begin with?
>>28700654The fuck you drive nigga?
>>28703360Could be any gas car they get creamed by electric
>>28703437We've got one at work, but the SWB. It has some 170HP and takes around 10 seconds at WOT to reach 100. Literally every car I've ever owned is faster.Did they make a hot version or what?
>>28703301Not very.>In 2024, minivans accounted for approximately 3% to 4.21% of total new vehicle sales in the United States. The segment has stabilized around 300,000 sales per year, but remains a small portion of the overall market.
>>28700870It was a complete fuck up internally for what it’s worth. For some reason VW decided to leave development and production up to their business facing arm that does utility vehicles and stuff and they were completely inexperienced with a consumer facing EV so it was in development for way too long and so expense kept rising an they kept falling behind tech wise for the battery and motor and every year they didn’t have a car in production meant the cost to design and build the car was going up and the tech behind it was further behind Tesla. Finally VW just decided to make it a high cost rich boomer wife facing nostalgia fashion piece becuase it was too expensive to develop and sell at model 3 prices and obviously completely a joke in terms of range and battery at any price. It’s a complete and utter disaster they’re trying to get some revenue back on.I will say it seems like a nice experience to be in and drive. But of course it really isn’t a competitive product if you care about range and power. It’s purely a fashion piece/third car for rich people with nostalgia for the the old one.
>>28700654E Bussy?
>>28700654My local dealers have these Bus EVs lined up and can't sell them. They were marked up to $120,000 but now back down to $90,000Still near zero sales.I think I've seen 1 so far on the road.
>>28705394My dealer gets more and more on the lot. The only one I’ve ever seen is driven by the dealer owner who’s obviously driving it bc it won’t sell. They’re cool desu but like model 3 money cool not like Cayenne money. Sort of like the Phaeton but this will be EV junk that can’t be fixed in 7 years where as Phaetons are running solid engines on a Bentley platform. VW needs to just do a hybrid beetle with the engine in the back and some actual cool afforded fun cars and quit chasing the pseudo luxury crossover market
>gapped by something that traps double digits in the 1/4 mileYou must drive something really slow Anon. >>28703437>no heck'n gas powered car can run a 14.2 @ 97mphRetard, plz.
