Anyone working with these right now? I think i've finally had enough and going to replace the whole system with a carburettor or ECU plugin.
K Jet sounds better though
>>28703114Never have, sorry. My dad liked those systems though. What is not working with yours?
>>28703359Not getting fuel through to all cylinders. Got 2/5 firing. I keep rebuilding the distributor to just get that one extra cylinder then im hoping it will be enough to sustain the engine and run it until it brute forces more fuel through. but rebuilding it is getting tiring and is extremely tedious. Wanna replace it with something simpler and more reliable.
>>28703377Just do a 38 downdraft. If there's a manifold available. Which motor?May be easier and same cost to just do the most basic megasquirt tho
>>28703382It's a KV 2.2. Have only just started looking into it. I know people have done it but have no idea specifically what fits.
>>28703388Im sure they have, its popular to go to carb for the old bosch bmws.but a downdraft 38/38 should be more than enough for a stock 2.2 I would think. As long as someone makes a manifold for it or its available from another car.these days standalone fuel management is so cheap it's kinda w/e youd rather do. at least with efi you could keep all the old intake manifold and everything probably
>>28703114I'm sure a Speeduino's going to be cheaper, better and easier than a carb.
>>28703114rebuild the fuel distributor.
>>28703780How about you rebuild it a fifth time for me Anon and show me how it's done
>>28703377You try cleaning or replacing the injectors?
>>28703377>>28703388>5cylDon't put a carb on it, you'll never get the mixtures right unless you go with either a single barrel or individual ones per cylinder.Speeduino or Megasquirt is a better bet.
>>28705554It's definitely the fuel distributor without a doubt.>>28705563Yeah the carb route looks horrible. Someone actually tried that 1 per cylinder method with bike carbs somehow. Think Megasquirt will be the way to go.
