What does it actually do?

Why isn't it included as standard?

I want new XC90 with true AWD (B5 mhev) but it's sluggish as fuck by default. Will Polestar Engineered upgrade make it more in line with German cars?

How do you even have money considering how dumb you are OP?

M/AMG/S are different models that have different engines in comparison to regular models. Polestar is software - so how much few lines of code can actually change regular Volvo shitbox?

If regular B5 has 250hp and pushes XC90 0-100km/h in 8 seconds, then what is performance of literally same car, just with Polestar installed? Does it unlock some horsepower? Does it remove 180km'h speed limitation?

Anybody has access to some specific data?

Normally that's true of Polestar, too. Even after they went EV, some polestars have dual motors when the normal has one.
I didn't realize there was a "Polestar upgrade," not just Polestar models (didn't care). Apparently it's like an aftermarket tune (increased throttle response, automatic will shift later), but it also sends more power to the rear on the AWD XC90. I just googled a bunch, apparently it does increase torque and power while reducing the 0-60 but I can't find specifics on your model.
It's a reasonable price compared to an aftermarket tune and keeps the warranty.

Polestar website gives power and torque specs for all of their official tunes.

Lol what the fuck is a Volvo, didn't they get bought out by the Chinese or indians? Why would you buy one when there are so many other manufacturers to chose from?
