are these jeeps good
>>
>>28708770
My buddy had one and it overheated in the middle of the desert, coolant had all leaked out. Convinced him we should fill the radiator with piss to get back home. His step mom is still driving it 10 years later.
>>
>>28708775
that's a lot of piss
>>
>>28708770
All jeeps are trash.
They were trash during WW2 and even bigger piles of trash now.
Jeep fags are the biggest COPING retards behind BMW fags.
I can't tell you how many retards I've talked to that claim their Jeep is reliable and has only had "minor" issues.

Replacing 2 complete axles because they went to snap city up a hill isn't "minor".
Overheating your i6 and warping a block isn't minor.
Rebuilding those POS transmissions isn't a minor fix.
Putting a 5,000cfm ZL1 fan on your Jeep because it overheats in traffic isn't a minor issue.
It's all trash.

They have no redeeming qualities.
They are shit quality wise
Bad MPG
Not even cheap
Look like shit
And are mediocre at off-roading

And the only thing more trashy than jeeps are the owners.

There were four of us plus I'm sure some coolant left in the system but yeah we got lucky we were all waiting to piss. Was enough to not overheat again. We might have added some bottled water too but we definitely filled that radiator with piss. Only problem now is it leaks a lot of oil.
>>
>>28708782
gay as hell
>>
>>28708785
Oil leaks aren't that bad, just keep it topped up and put something under to catch it.
>>
>>28708770
they only came in that configuration for a year i think and its the most reliable wj outside of euro 2,7crdi. no wj is actually reliable their electronics fail all the time but as long as the engine starts you can get around.
>>28708779
you are talking to me and its only minor issues.
80s toyota hilux
>bulletproof
>engine so weak it barely gets going, steering angle so poor it needs a national part to turn
>framed so unecessarily high and said frame rust in half
>leafs all around so a terrible ride but few issues
80s jeep comanche
>can turn on a dime but this breaks u jounts if you floor it at the same time
>enough power to actually ruin parts if used wrong, see above
>unibody so slick af, low profile and wont rust in half
>leafs in the back jeep 5 link in the front, drives like a go cart on the expence of introducing lots of bushings and links that need maintendance.
jeeps are not trash but a lot of trash people drive them like trash, they are the people who should be driving toyota.

curious about wjs because I just want a beater that I can take out to the bush
>>
>>28708794
perfect for it. just dont expect all its electronic gadgets to work, but it will be the most comfy boulevard ride bush beater you will ever find that still has all the important offroad parts like transfer case and solid axles and the 4,0L has enough power with all the comfy but crap crysler interor parts. it can also tow 7500lbs/3300kg but that might just be euro spec and not legal in usa? doesnt matter unless you intend to be checked it can still do it.

Which Jeep driver fucked your mother and never called her back?
>>
>>28708992
Not only did he do that, he left a little ducky on her nightstand :(
>>
>>28708770

>Jeep good
Not since the wj and barely even then
>>
>>28708770
LOL NO
I had the diesel one, and although i actually really liked the car it was the worst pos ive ever owned

It also has a massive recall due to exactly the same problem the fucking PINTO had with the gas tank being pushed into the cab and burning everyone extra dead if even slightly hit from behind

Its a shame because its comfy and practical but stay the fuck away it had so many problems due to shit engineering and mexican parts jfc i loved it but after that pos ill never own a jeep again
>>
>>28710286
Shit i meant the zj
>>
>>28710288
And trust me, i really liked the car as a concept. I put a lot of time and energy into it, because you know - real tranny, good engine that gets good mileage, diff brakes, looks good, solid axles, but H O L Y F U C K what a pos that thing was i could lecture for an hour how awful it was keeping that thing on the road

Do not get a wj anon trust me
>>
>>28708770
It depends where you live I guess but these are practically extinct here. Rust prone unibody vehicles and the rust belt is a bad combination. The typical Dodge mechanical issues don't help either. There's a reason why you see a million GMT800 Tahoes and even a lot of GMT400's but pretty much none of these. Hint one is a lot better than the other.
>>
aight
thanks, /o/
the guy on fb marketplace is very upset that im no longer buying his wj
imma just save up a bit more for a 4runner
