Modern infrastructure like in South Korea shows that you can have cities where cars are not required but are also very well serviceed. SUVs make driving worse. They take up more room on the road, they make it impossible to see what's going on in front because they are so high, in the last year I was almost in two different car crashes in parking lots because SUVs have incredibly poor visibility. I can't think of any other vehicle that makes driving worse for both the owner and everyone around them.This stupid thing is being advertised as practical and rugged off-road and luxury. Very few people in this country go off-road. And the ones that do are not going to buy one of these things that is too wide to go on the off-roading tracks anyway. There are a plethora of pickup truck, SUV and crossover choices in the $40-50k range which are more practical and useful than a wagon. Sedans dies because they're fucking useless.
