How much should I be spending on new tires? My budget is about $900... but that seems like a lot to me? I don't drive too much, but it snows where i live.
>>
>>28721930
Unless you have something weird going on, $900 should easily cover everything even if you go with name brand tires like Goodyear or something like that.

When i try to research anything about Good Year tires, I see redditors saying they're bad quality. Would it be better for me to go for Michelin tires??
>>
>>28721940
look at reviews on tirerack.com you dumb whore
>>
anything that isn't chinkshit tires and fit your rims/car will be fine. 900 is fine, if not more than needed.

Listen here little baby. You're gonna get a lot of hurtful and degrading comments, but that ain't what I'm about. Let me just say, you are perfect the way you are. You hear me sugar? PERFECT. Don't ever change. You deserve anything and everything you want. Stay safe for me, baby girl. >mfw thinking of you hurting

im serious reddit says they are "good for a year"

Most major tire brands are fine. I'd vouch for continentals myself, if you're just sticking with all-seasons.
>>
Depends on the car, but prices can easily go $200-$300 a tire if you drive an SUV or truck. I don't think you can go wrong buying Michelins on Continentals.

Also, nearly every tire manufacturer has some sort of rebate going on at all times, $40-$100 back on a set of 4 tires.
>>
>>28722014
Wow, that's catchy. You drive a lot? Have you ever had to replace tires after a year? Obviously we're not talking about a track car

Unless you're driving like a hooligan just get fucking yokohamas or mid tier shit. Just avoid Michelin, Pirelli's and to an extent Bridgestone and Goodyear.

Go to Costco if you can and just pick the mid priced ones. Dont bother with reviews, if you're an actual woman then you're gunna curb your tires anyway so "drive feel" wont really matter. And as long as you buy new there's practically zero chance that you'll fuck em up unless you drive over nails or screws.

But if you're a ((woman)) then fuck you for making me help a tranny.

conti DWS06 or whatever the fuck their current all seasons offering is probably good enough. don't buy super cheap trash, and assuming you don't have massive wheels, 900 will get you something more than adequate. sumitomo "performance" all seasons are good if you don't hoon. if you actually live somewhere with real winters, you should be saving for winter tires too

christ that LONDON era pasta always makes me feel old, even though it isn't actually that old

literally just go to walmart and get douglas all season. they are surprisingly good in snow and they last a long time.
they cost $50-120 a tire depending on size.
>>
Don't bother my sweet, I will don a saddle and you may ride me to your destination
>>
>>28721930
You don't need to spend all that on tires. Buying some used retreads from your local tire shop will save you money and they're just as good as new.
>>
>>28723784

illegal here and for good reason, unless you're a dump truck

Michelin, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Goodyear, Continental.
These are known as "premium" tyres, all of them are very good.
900 is a lot if you have a small or medium-sized car, but a set of premium tyres for a sports car or a big SUV/truck can go over 1k.

I know some rubbers we can test

Click the Shop Tires button that's right on the screen. Pick your car and it'll ask you what you're looking for.
What ever it spits out will be a solid choice. Maybe not the best, but it's a you can't go wrong kind of deal.
