>Mitsubishi Montero is returning for 2028>rebadged Nissan Armada>Nissan introducing PHEV Rogue>Outlander PHEV with a different grillwhen do they just become the same company?
wake me up when there's an evo
>>28746554The Mexican is trying to move Nissan into the upper middle tier market and reintroduce the Skyline and Silvia and wants Mitsubishi as the poorfag brand slotting underneath it.The super cheap Nissans are likely to be axed as they aren't profitable and are killing Nissans viability and Mitsubishi models will fill the gaps on the bottom of the Nissan portfolio. This idea was floated under previous executives but wasn't adopted. Espinoza liked it because he wants Nissan to be a fun mid range Toyota competitor long term that needs some premium products to carry the brand instead of just being Japanese Hyundai which is the current model which offers low quality and low margins per vehicle. Another option was to rebadge Mitsubishi products as Datsuns in the US market. That was not adopted. I'd expect to see Mitsubishi and Nissan dealers perhaps merged though. For the new Silvia it would likely be something like a slightly lengthened version of the IDX Freeflow concept stretched to fit on the FM derivative for the next Q50/Skyline.T. industry pro
