That gen of AMG V8 is supposed to be very problematic.
Just find a regular 560SEC.

Very susceptible to poor quality fuel aka any ethanol blends. The injector "spider" gets all gummed up unless you regularly run it.

The mechanical fuel injection will make you its bitch at some point. Don't buy one that has sat for a long time it will need a full rebuild and its hard to find people that know how to work on them.

Potential slipping transmission and loose steering. The fuel injection and steering box were a bit outdated at this point but they were introduced in the early 70's. Apart from that they are mechanically simple but the engine bay is a little crowded from stuff like old style ABS.
I'd say the most easy to maintain cars are from the early to late 90's so this is just a little worse than them.
