2012 Volvo S60 is pretty damn nice. Only thing i don't like is the cupholders are right behind the gearstick, so if you have a drink you have nowhere to rest your arm.
>>28758707>gearstickit's 2025, how the fuck are people still this poor do you have to hand-crank the engine to start it too?
>>28758718Retard confirmed
>>287587072011 hsv grange
>>28758718Imagine not having a gearstick sounds homophones which we all know means closet gay.Do you like penis?OP is always a faggot.
>>287587071999 Grand Marquis. Like driving a sofa sitting on a cloud. Close second was a 2009 CTS-V, but I was too busy enjoying the 6.2LS and Tremac 6 speed to really pay attention to how comfy it was.
>>28758707My Colony Park. It's like reclining in a floating lazyboy. I've never owned another car that I can do a 14 hour straight road trip in and get out at the end without a sore back.
>>28758718God i wish, i want to unironically have to wake up 20 minutes earlier just to start my car, i need manual choke and distribution as well
>>28758819Lmao nigger you like touching that stick don't you? You wish it was a fat fucking cock when you move it up and down to change gear
>>28758830Driving so immersive you dont realise how comfy you are. That is a good car.
>>28758819This fag posting his shitheap mustang on every thread because somebody called it gay.Which it is.
>>28758895why don't you post your car, if it's so much cooler than his?
>>28758707The volvos are comfyDisappointing by the polestar EVs though, surprisingly crashy ride
>>28759067Probably because the smallest wheels they offer are 255/50R20sMassive oversized wheels with rubber band tires makes for a dogshit ride.
>>287587072014 fusion titanium Just an all around good car. Heated seats, remote start, lock/unlock by touch , etc. was “fast enough” for me, and decent efficiency.170k miles and 9 years; zero issues until a stoned door dasher ran me off the road.
>>28759061Because im not an insecure faggot being an insecure faggot to everyone. If you get on the podium, i will pull your pants down.
>>28759150I think you're worried that someone might call your car gay.
>>28759095Is the remote start that beneficial? Is it really that hard to turn a key or push a button?
>>28759151You can call it gay if you want.
>>28759156Kind of nice in the winter to warm it up while getting ready. It’s not a deal breaker in either case though (current car is a 2010 mustang GT with a MT and zero fancy features)
>>287587071990 Vauxhal Carlton was mega-comfy. I should have kept it to be a vintage car.
>>28759157I can't pass judgement if you don't post it.
>>28758707Silver Shadow. Genuinely like floating on a cloud, and the steering is feather light. 2nd place would be a Vanden Plas Princess 1300. Similar ride, but just a tiddly bit sharper to respond.
>>28759195If only there was some way to know what car i drove!
>>28759288It's almost like I'm asking for a picture.S60s are fine as long as you don't have the R engine that likes to crack its cylinder walls, or if you do, you've taken the time to shim it.
>>28758707My Cedric honestly is the best riding car I've owned. It rides nicer than my fathers caddy deville of the same vintage. Newer cars often ride hasher as they have focused on trying to be corner carving sport sedans, and not road marshmallows. Even on coil overs the rides better than much more expensive sport sedans I've sat in. Nice cloth always trumps leather in my opinion. Good sound deadening. Barely hear the engine running. The best I've ever driven though for comfort hands down was a vg40 LWB Toyota Century. Quieter, smoother, all around the best ride quality I've ever experience. Maybe a rolls is nicer but I've never been in one.
>>28758707First... yes, I'm poor. And I never owned one, but the comfiest car I've ever drove was a Honda Ridgeline. I think I'd prefer a Pilot because 3 rows of interior space sounds even comfier. But I'm personally too poor for anything besides clapped out hatchback shitboxes, which is what I currently drive.
>>28758848looks pretty comfy, anon. nice ride.
>>28758707out of jeep cherokee, dodge neon and toyota celica its the celica by a huge amount.
>>28758707How reliable has it been for you?
>>28759549I'm asking because I want to buy one
>>28758848This looks sweet>>28758830This is a good choice too, those Mercury boats. Those and 90s Cadillacs, they were like half bucket seats with the folding armrest to turn them into a bench, and you had to turn the steering wheel like 9 times to get into a parking spot, but at the same time you could use your pinky to turn the wheel because the steering was so easy.Earlier Caddies were awesome though with a long hood when the emblem still stuck up from the top of the grille. It was a joy to see that Cadillac emblem like 8 feet away from you wherever you’re going.
>>28759472Thanks mate.>>28758830>>28759695Also can confirm about the 90s Merc boats. I've got one of those too and it's almost equally as comfortable. Panther body Merc/Lincoln is one of, if not the best budget roadtrip cars. I've put 100k miles on mine and it's pretty excellent, extremely reliable, and very comfy.
>>28758707Probably a 5 ton Freightliner box truck. The 41'' tires just roll over and absorb all the little imperfections in the road. The car it's self and the drivers seat ride on air so you literally just float down the road. Second place would be my GMT800 2500 Yukon XL. It's definitely not a numb cloud like a modern vehicle but you can actually still feel the road which I like. The comfy puffy seats absorb all the little bumps unlike a modern vehicle with stupid "supportive" seats. Overall it's very unfatiguing for a HD truck and feels like a time machine ie a 3 hour drive feels like an hour.
>>28759549I bought it at 160k miles. Now its at 170k and the only real issue ive had was the electronic handbrake not working on one of the wheels. Was about £200 to fix. Aside from that i replaced the rear strut mounts last year but that was just wear and tear.Previous owner was an uber driver so its been ragged and these are the only issues ive faced. Idk the going rate on them but i bid £3000 on ebay for it.
>>28758707Good ol Continental, like floating down the road in a recliner. I also remember my great uncles Citroen DS being extremely comfy, but I've never personally driven one
>>28758707>What is the comfiest car you have ever driven? My 08 Towncar. Last of the dinosaurs. Air ride suspension is great, seats are super plush, its heavy enough to ignore most bumps and its a sedan so it doesn't feel like a top heavy SUV.
>>287587072003 subaru baja after dropping my sister off, because it was right after getting my license and it was the first time i drove alone. rebuilding the engine rn after the cheap shitty timing belt the boomer mechanic put on there snapped.
>>287587072nd gen Hyundai Tiburon. Not sure why. The seat, suspension, driving position, and noise were all just really inviting. I had to drive a rented one to Ohio from Virginia, and was so relaxed by the time I got there to deliver something that I just drove all the way back to Virginia on the same day.Got back home at 10pm and slept like a baby. Returned the rental the next morning.
