>Car was dented while parked in my building's lot for the 4th time this yearim about to have an aneurysm
I’m thankful I drive a complete shitbox and do not care about it.
>>28769748>having a nice car but no garageWhy do people do this? Drive a shitbox or buy a proper dwelling.
>>28769766its not like my apt is a bad place. its just a bunch of nurses and grandparents who dont give a shit
>>28769768At that point you're better off with a shitbox. Sadly people's programming is fucked and respecting people's shit is not a thing anymore.
>>28769789My car isnt expensive by any means. Its just the first newish car ive ever owned and I really like itIf I wasnt worried about some crack head stealing it and the fact I daily the car, I would put a cover over it
This happened to me as well. I figured out who did it tho... and a rock mysteriously broke their passenger window ;)Never happened after that.
>>28769766this is such a third world mentality that it scares me. america is well on its way to becoming a third world country
>>28769748Park near bigger cars or pillars
>>28769858You already are
Buy asbestos-rich parts so when people ding your car they get lung cancer and die
Bought my truck used without dents. Spent about a year and a half working on a project in Celebration, Florida where we had to use the same lot all the tourists parked their rentals in. At the end of each day it seemed like I was walking out to new dents. Some years later my wife backed my truck into another vehicle, then some years after that my mother rearranged her mailbox with the whole length of the passenger side of my truck. On the bright side it's all cosmetic and I've had to stop caring. Right now the engine bay is cleaner than the exterior of the truck. I'm serious, I get in there with dish soap and water, and all kinds of brushes. Just replaced the harmonic balancer shaft seal and cleaned up all the dripped oil. Obviously makes it easier to detect and find leaks. I also value mechanical integrity and reliability over all else, but some of us are cursed. The more effort you put into something the more the world around you throws back into fucking it up. People home in with strollers, and purses and shit to fuck up your paint. >>28769858It's pragmatic. You avoid the inconsiderate hordes or drive a bucket so it doesn't matter. Or live amongst white people.
>>28769748fun fact: due the exorbitant costs of body work in 2025, you can probably total their car in less than 30 seconds with one of these.
>>28769748What are other people doing in your building's lot? Don't you own it?
>>28769858>on its way to becoming a third world country>on its waykek
>>28770086I own a condo that comes with a dedicated parking spot
>>28770135>apartmentfagsorry for u blud
>>28770089This. Stay away from this shithole for your own sanity.
why is it so hard for subhumans to not bump into shit
The rentoid has no choice buy to drive a car he doesn't care about. Another rentoid WILL eventually damage it. Some apartment complexes have private garages you can rent that helps. I was a rentoid once, I know the feeling. Generally you should commute in a car you don't care about anyway unless you have a pretty protected parking situation at work and don't deal with much traffic.
>>28770254The funny thing is I own my place. Or at least I rent it from the bank
>>28770368And I rent my house from the government via property taxes. I suppose we all are rentoids in the end
>>28770386Until you burn every trace of yourself, and live in a literal cave and only eat what you hunt (with a knife you carved yourself) 4chan will always find a way to make fun of you
>>28771201Nah my friend's brother dropped out of medical school and did exactly that. He's still a ricecel
Just got back from a PDR place and they quoted me $300 to bump out the latest ding. Now that I know there's no damage to my paint I feel a little better about it.If it's still bothering me by tax season, I might spend a bit of my return on popping it out
