back when quattro meant something

>>28769997Quattro literally means "four", always has always will.
>>28769997Audisteer
>>28769997Yeah, it meant that you are paying five hundred a week to keep it running.
>>28769997quattro meant something when you were allowed to change 2 trannies in-between races.
>>28769999holy quattro>>28770033>2 trannies>2 digits
>>28770007skill issueunironically
>>28770033LMAO as if that's a problem, wrenchlet.
bam and his quattros
>>28771424https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6bf7Gtrtus&t=354s
Except the K-jetronic fuel injection which becomes fucked if the engine doesnt run for a few months and that shit can NOT be repaired faithfully. Thats why almost all UR quattros running nowdays are fitted with plugin EFI units.
>>28771433>10 minutes of skill issues on the burgerking
>>28769999CHECKED
>>28771424No amount of skill can overcome the engine and gearbox being ahead of the front axle. There's a reason no audis are fast around a track.
It literally meant nothing until they made that one
>>28772245
>>28771459it can be repaired but it requires specific tools and a lot of knowledge so few people bother finding someone who can do it.
>>28772530RS3 uses a VW drive train, it's not front heavy dogshit like typical quattro.
>>28772626>ALL Audis are slow on track well?
>>28769997I love that car. My first car was an 1984 Audi GT Coupe. It looked the same except no fender flares. 100hp, but it handled awesome. Voted the best steering in any car that year.
>>28772631>it takes a dressed up VW to make a fast audi
>>28772791except its the other way around
>>28771424They had to cut a foot out of the wheelbase because Walter Rohrl had a "skill issue" trying to stop the Audi from understeering. Faggot
