People from poorer countries, how do you cope with knowing you will never own your dream car?Pic related, even a mustang is too much for me.
>>28770085By saving for my dream bike (super duke)
Give it 10 years and its yours. Their prices will TANK. I see plenty Mustangs in the Balkans.
>>28770085My dream car was an Audi A5.I now own an Audi A5 from 2017.Coping pretty well with it so far.
>>28770085Yeah man, living in US is hell.
>>28770085My dream car is a Carrera GT, so even if I was Amerocan, likely I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway.
>>28770085Instead of coping you should hustle
>>28770205it's a piece of shit car though
>>28770085My dream car is a mint 240z and I don't think the country matters, I'm not finding it and if I am, not at a reasonable price anywhere. I cope with my 2nd dream car, a 350z which I have
>>28771418>t. paul walker's ghost
>>28770189i am so sorry
>>28770091You'll also get it with 100K miles on it and tons of issues.
>>28770085most americans can't afford them either. they just take out 84 month loans.
>>28771565how's that 04 corolla DD working out for you LOL
I have more important desires like coveting thy neighbors land and daughter with murderous rapey 3rd world intent.
>>28771565while i dont condone that......at the end of your life are you going to think about how you only got your stuff through loans or are you going to think about the actual fun experiences you had on the bank's car that people in other countries didnt have?
>>28771467Dont be. I grew up a poor kid in a village in bumfuck nowhere. I got a great degree, a very well paying job for the shithole i am from and have bought the car with cash while still in my mid 20s. When i was in hs and uni this car always stood out when looking at parked cars on the street, i liked it a lot and now i'm driving one. Its decently fast, its comfy and i can almost never mistake another car for it. Whats next from here? Idk, wifegoying into a boring safe suv and buying a lotus elise/lancer evo x/ bmwupra as a midlife crysis car/weekender? I also find some W213 E-Class models to look very good but i couldnt afford them without taking a loan for half the car's current value and that's a bad deal for me.If i get rich i'm buying a BMW I8 though, that car looks stunning but you need to afford premium bmw maintenance which i can not at the moment.
>>28771655Oof, hit too close to home, goy?
>>28771834i have 5 titles in my lockbox, brokie. have sex.
>>28770085genuinely feel bad for people in those southeast asian countries where car taxes are like 500% of the price so a basic corolla is like $100k USD equivalent
>>28771813>If i get rich i'm buying a BMW I8 though, that car looks stunning>owns an audiThe jokes about poorfags and their abysmal taste just write themselves.
>>28771873>glosses over the Lotus Elise and Lancer Evo X optionsI'm not changing this car for at least 3 years, i'm just drawing outlines for different paths to take in the future. It's perfectly possible that i drive this car for 200kkm until it croaks.Ive loved the Elise since i was a kid playing NFS.
>>28771873Post car
Dream car miatamfw I have miataeven driving to work with miata is fun.
>>28771889>drive this car for 200kkm until it croaks>200k KM = 124k milesLol? 124k miles is nothing. My truck has 265k miles. That's 426k KM.
>>28773183when i bought it it already had 110k and I've put 10k on it so far. I know that TFSI engines are not the most reliable engines out there. At my yearly rate of driving 200kkm with me will mean around 15 years.
>>28770085>you will never own your dream carbut I already own a 1995 camry
>>28771655i make $150k/yr wfh and drive a 2017 mazda 3 with minor hail damage.
>>28770085>always dreamt of building my own kit car Stratos since I've learned that it was an option>when I was at school, was looking at a Hawk kit that should've set me back ~20k round trip- not cheap, but something in the motivationally achieveable category>graduate the same year Hawk stops making the kits>fug>Lister Bell is the one to go for now, but that would be at least three times the price>fine, I'll make it big, save up and get that one, more motivation>work my ass off, start making money proper>finally enquire with LB for a quote on a kit>they apparently stopped offering kits last year, now they only offer assembled cars>these go into triple digits, way more than I'm willing to pay, and I don't get the entertainment of weekend wrenching eitherAll I wanted was to spend a few years of weekends in the shed playing with adult Lego and get my dream car out of it, but now I can't do either. Unless I find someone else's unfinished project for sale, but even that's likely to set me back a pretty penny.
My dream car is a Ford GT '05. It was over the moment I saw it in GT4.
>Ameripoors thinking financing their oversized trucks or "dream mom cars" or whatever overpriced garbage at 80+ months at 800+ dollars makes them rich.. and they think they own itnews flash, youre poor, and do not own your vehicle. I'm happy driving my clapped out camery thats paid off, and adding to my 6 figure investments and savings, thank you very much.
>>28778188>mfw i financed my dream car, paid it off early, and now own it and enjoy itkeep coping on a car board about your clappes out camry though lol
>>28778188Who the fuck wouldn't finance when stocks are doing way better than whatever the loan rate is?>He only has 6 figures in investmentsngmi
