They have low range for an EV -- 220ish miles sopping wet brand new. After accounting for all the efficiency losses, some years of battery degradation, only charging to 80%, and losing a bunch of range in winter you can easily be down to 100 miles of actual range. Enough for city driving if you have a charger at home to top off every night, but not enough for a road trip -- with a battery that small and a car that inefficient you'll spend 45 minutes charging for every 90 minutes driving.

If that doesn't bother you, and you're okay with dealing with some of the early first gen teething issues, they seem to be decent cars.

Also it's not just Taycans that have tanked in price like this -- ALL EVs are depreciating like mad on the used market. Pretty much any 'luxury' EV that's a couple years old is down to the $40-$50k range. Used 2-3 year old commodity EVs can be gotten for $20-$30k. If you're okay with the lifestyle and okay with having to deal with those first gen problems the prices are shockingly cheap.

They're actually pretty good and you can get a lot out of them if you get one with cpo or you get lucky and you get one that doesn't have some scary software issue. They're the first gen of a very experimental EV so they aren't gonna be perfect and their range is shit, like 200miles, but if you keep it as some city car then you could do worse. They drive much better than any other EV though.

Yeah because that's a valid metric to use when buying a new car. Like I was going to buy a Camry because they're a good value and reliable but they're too popular so I bought a Jaguar F Pace instead. Sure enough, it's fast like another performance car; but not compelling like another performance car.
