I live in Finland, the "happiest country on Earth", and I'll be forced to live in a car next year because of our current economic collapse. What van would you recommend? It needs to be spacious, trustworthy, easy to maintain, cheap, warm in the winter, cool in the summer.. looking for the impossible combo, as usual. Before you answer, you should know that used cars in Finland are extraordinarily expensive and shit. Whatever you get will be on its last legs. Unless you're a millionaire, you'll be driving something that's done 300-700k kilometers and most parts will be original because cheap-ass Finns don't do any maintenance on their cars. When they break, they're put together with duct tape and sold to people like me.Based on that, I think we can rule out Italian and French ven. You can't go wrong with a Transporter, right? A Sprinter is probably the best option, but they're on the expensive side. Ford Transit seems to be both big and cheap but I have no idea if it's good.

>>28772704I forgot to mention, im a girl, so staying fresh in the van has its challenges
>>28772683peugeot boxer with iveco 3.0hdi engine. idk about all that living in van thing, it's -15c during winter and +50c during summer inside.
>>28772683The VW T4 is amazing, practically indestructible. We have a few of these. The most well-used one will soon reach a million km. You get in, turn the ignition, and it starts, just like the others that have 300k/400k/500k km.
>>28772708[x] doubt
>>28772711My friend owned both T4 and T5 and he always claimed the T4 was better even though it was older and had fewer luxuries
>>28772719transporters are not really popular where I live despite vw being super popular brand. They're too soft and car like, can't take abuse of your average delivery man.As I said, peugeot boxer, it's the only one available with proper commercial engine in europe. It's ofc much nastier to drive than idk sprinter but that's the price of being durable&raw.
>>28772683>Italian and French ven
>>28772735I'm OP and I couldn't be happier that someone got my Peep Show reference.
Ostahha ihan asuntovaunu, on vero ja kattastusvapaa jos 750kg tai alle.
>>28772683what happened to your economy? I thought northern europeans were all wealfy
>>28772760>Yes we will pay germanys debts>Yes we will send more money to ukraine>Yes we will take in more refugees>Wait fuck, we can't afford none of this
>>28772683>I'll be forced to live in a carmade up scenario
>>28772840if he "she" was from US it would sound more realistic, in europe idk no one does that.

>>28772683There is only one answer.https://www.nettiauto.com/chevrolet/express
Just get a tent and stealth camp you can put it on pallets to keep it off the ground and make rudimentary insulation from trash.Living in your car is for Americans who live in constant fear of niggers
>>28772683A more affordable option is NOT to go for a big van, as it's the first thing other people will think of as well. Thus increasing demand and therefore raising price of these vehicles. Those VW Transporters are inflated as fuck because it was some kind of hippie icon boomers still remember and now some dumb 40+ year olds are buying them trying to live up to their parents stories about how great those were in the summer. Theyre of poor quality and are rather cramped.Look for an MPV, a small courier van or even a stationwagon. Because they are still ugly, uncool and uneconomic for the majority of people. But you can actually camp/live in these very well if you so desire. Ford C-max, S-max, Volvo V70, Opel Zafira, VW Touran, Peugeot Expert, Ford Transit Connect. If you are unsure what it will look like, just google the car and add camper at the end. Some MPVs look pretty decent as a ''camper''. Way more stealthy so you wont get seen as a hobo or chased off a parking lot.
>>28773453>Ford Transit ConnectIt's a cool car but the "connect" versions are small as fuck. All you can do is sleep in that thing.A regular Ford Transit is big enough to fap in etc.
>>28773040>Just get a tent and stealth camp you can put it on pallets to keep it off the groundFuck I always thought I invented that. I hate tenting on the ground, it feels bad and you wake up next to a spider and shit
>>28772708Make sure you have somewhere to clean your dilators!
>>28773486>be spider>the eternal winters that claim your kind generation after generation will claim you soon>need to find somewhere warm before the forever sleep claims you>it's so cold>there's a beacon of warmth under the plant canopy>it's so nice to be alive and warm>the warmth thrashes madly when you approach too closely>everything goes black
>>28772683>I'll be forced to live in a carFalse. You want to live in a car. People are forced to live in a free apartments, you get more free money than you need and even in your situation where you have used all that money to buy alcohol and drugs, and how you have breaking all the rules and did nothing you have ordered to do (probably losing that free money) you can still live in a free house and get free food you fucking retard.>next year because of our current economic collapseThere was, there isn't and never will be any "economic collapse" in Finland. The day you lose your free money is the day you die in a war. Stfu you fucking retard.OP is a drug addict alcoholic that just didn't do what government asked and that is why he can't have that free money we get. They probably asked him to go in a one meeting once a year to say "hi and bye" to keep free money coming, but was too lazy to do even that fucking 30-60 minutes yapping/smalltalk. Or they asked him to send one CV in the last 5 years for once and was too lazy to even do that one simple thing.t. other spurdo
