If you really wanna go fast and have good roads around you go for an early 2010s Civic SI but if you just want something easy to learn on then get a '99 civic sedan. Parts are everywhere for when something inevitably breaks, and everything is dirt cheap to replace. Great cars with a good community, I have a '92 Prelude SI and I love it, but my biggest regret is not buying a Civic instead because everything I've done with it would have been twice as cheap and probably a bit faster too.
