What are some comfy cars for tall dudes?
I need to get a commuter and I dont want an SUV
Heard the VW Golf is decent but tried one out and it was tolerable but not really comfortable

Unironically, EVs.
They have so much more space, as they dont need to cram in Rube Goldberg machine ICE machinery and "gearboxes"
>>
>>28774832
Okay but which ones? also I live in bumfuck nowhere, is the range on modern EVs good yet?

>I live in bumfuck nowhere, is the range on modern EVs good yet?
No, you're just talking to a /n/igger. The range is ass and only gets worse in winter, and the only place in the world that has even close to enough public chargers is SoCal.

>the range on modern EVs good yet?
Absolutely

That's just poorfag cope, and Big Oil FUD.
The firm I work for runs a fleet of Teslas and our sales team drive all over the country in them.
Most get about 400 miles on a full charge and our fleet management system confirms this.
In the real world Teslas have pretty damn good range, as well as performance and that improves with updates and as new models arrive.
The team love them, and they could choose an ice if they wanted, but literally nobody wants one when they have the choice.
What it looks like is the only people who are upset about EVs are the ones who are enturbulated about not being able to afford one.

Go home, /n/igger.

Kek, poorfag, you just don't like the truth.
Actually, what i wrote is true. We are ISO compliant and independently audited.
For this reason we use Zoom meetings where possible, but due to the nature of our work our people have to be on client's sites regularly.
Teslas are perfect for this compliance, and they also save us a pile of money on gas.
Not to mention our team love them.
When we first started making the switch over, we had a combination of Teslas and older executive cars and everyone wanted the Teslas. Now our fleet is going strong and we will rotate new ones in as they get too old.
The mileage and performance is fantastic.

>What are some comfy cars for tall dudes?
suvs, pickup trucks, vans (mini or otherwise)

>golf
fuck no
not just because cramped, but also because german, which means $$$ maintenance

>I need to get a commuter and I dont want an SUV
model y. try the 3 too, but the y has more headroom
if you can't charge at home, you're fucked, start shopping suvs and pickups. try to find something with a port injected, NA v8. you're probably gonna have to look from ~2020 and back.

is SUV or a Van really my only choice
I hate driving in a tall car
>>
>>28774829
how tall are you
>>
>>28775514
i mean, yea. the car has to be tall to offer lots of internal head room, that's how geometry works
the best compromise you can do is a crossover, aka a fake suv, aka a station wagon with a small lift.
which is why i mentioned the model y. between being a crossover and having the ultra low COM of an EV, its probably your best option for a car with loads of interior head room but also good driving dynamics

I've not had many problems in an RX8 at 6'3 and a fat cunt but nobody can sit behind me

You aren't a fag that cares about fuel mileage right?

vw caddy and similar cars have a lot of headroom. they are pretty spartan and dont look the best so that might be a dealbreaker

Sam hyde drove a ~2014 prius (c?) for years because hybrids used to have super cheap leases
The overall size was fine for him (even if his head was about 2 inches from the ceiling) and he's a deceptively huge dude
>>
>>28774832
In my experience it's the opposite.
You're sitting on top of the battery in a weirdly high seating position, only car made after the 80s I ever saw with no seat height adjustment kek
I've driven classic Minis, Beetles and kei-based Piaggio trucks before, but a Renault EV hatch was the first that I didn't really fit in comfortably. And I'm just average height @ 1,83m

Nah the Prius is not great, I was tight on headroom and the way the roof slopes down to the windshield makes it feel smaller.

Is OP looking for headroom or legroom? For me it's headroom. I was going to say Forester but that's getting toward SUV territory. Any big sedan will be fine I was in a Impala and not scraping the roof. I'm sure you already know to avoid sunroofs. umm I will let you know if I think of another good one.

Dodge Charger or challenger
t. 6’6”

I'm 6'2" and I have an obscene amount of legroom and headroom available in my Maverick, and it handles like a midsize car

>>28776090
The older Prius is decent, the dashboard and middle console arent massive like in newer cars

tallest guy i know (200+ cm) drives a w202 mercedes, before that he had an old civic
