Why do people keep buying Tundras despite all the recalls (pic related)?

Having driven modern Toyotas as rental cars (Tacoma, Corolla, Rav4) all three feel like exactly the same vehicle with varying levels of lift kit, with uncomfortable interiors, and shit driving feel. Was Toyota always just a meme?

Tacoma's were always miserable to drive but reliable. Tundra's were miserable to drive but reliable. Now things are still miserable but you don't get the reliability anymore.

Goyota is loved by the low iq and browns. People actually have the impression that they never break, that you can put poo instead of oil in the engine and that parts are free.
