Why do people keep buying Tundras despite all the recalls (pic related)?
>>28775617because muh-toyota reliability
>>28775617>muh recallsYou guys must be fresh out of highschool as you act like recalls are a new thing. I'd rather a company that actually fixes its mistakes than pretends it never happens and tells you to go fuck yourself like Dodge or Ford would
>>28775634But the latest generation (2022+) has proven to not be reliable. So why are they having better sales than ever?
>>28775617>What is channel stuffing
>>28775617Goyota brand is so powerful. NPCs see Toyota and think "oh this car will be reliable and not give me headache" while having to deal with endless recalls and the most soulless ass hybrid drivetrain in human existence. Literally made for uber jeets.
>>28775646The engine recall due to metal shavings only had a handful of actual failures. But 125,000 owners are getting new engines, free of charge.Id love to buy a truck, drive it for a few years with zero issues then get a free crate engine.
>>28775682Unless you have a hybrid engine and then Toyota says fuck you because you can pull it over :)
>>28775682>he thinks the engine failures would present themselves the first years of ownershipFirst day owning a car?
>>28775617Status
>>28775617Because whatever the big three are making now is still a billion times worse?
>>28775682>due to metal shavings onlyNobody tell him ha ha.
>>28777302If not metal shavings, then what?
>>28775617because they know Toyota will fix it
>>28775617>am i out of touch?>no, it is the consumer that is wrong about what they want
>Consumers are retardedNothing new there
Having driven modern Toyotas as rental cars (Tacoma, Corolla, Rav4) all three feel like exactly the same vehicle with varying levels of lift kit, with uncomfortable interiors, and shit driving feel. Was Toyota always just a meme?
>>28775645*teleports GM lifters behind you*>nothing personal kid
>>28782150Yeah pretty much. Corollas were always miserable but reliable econoboxes. Camrys were always slightly larger but miserable and reliable econoboxes. Tacoma's were always miserable to drive but reliable. Tundra's were miserable to drive but reliable. Now things are still miserable but you don't get the reliability anymore.
>>28782150Ivthink their hybrid driveline is truly the most soulless abomination ever conceived.
Goyota is loved by the low iq and browns. People actually have the impression that they never break, that you can put poo instead of oil in the engine and that parts are free.
