I'm trying to build an old brit bike despite knowing nothing about bikes and having never ridden one before. I just built the gearbox/clutch and I wanted to check if it works or not.>turn engine via the alternator nut with the gearbox in 1st>piston moves and so does rear wheel sprocket>squeeze the clutch, causing the clutch plates to move by ~2mm>turn the engine over again>once again, both piston and wheel sprocket rotateThat means I did something wrong, right? The engine shouldn't spin the rear wheel when the clutch is engaged, should it?also, squeezing the clutch only makes the clutch plates move about 2mm - is that a "normal" amount of movement?Video: https://streamable.com/1huw0g
That's barely moving at all, you have to adjust it again and you'll probably have to adjust it once more when the bike is in ridable condition too
