You should get an MGB, Anon! Simple, easy to work on and completely devoid of anything between you and the experience of motoring. They're dirt cheap too. And cute :D !I'd post my '79 but shes basically dissembled as I work on fully restoring her.Why haven't you gotten one, Anon?
Wee!(Note: I have never, before owning this car, pulled a head before or done anything beyond general maintenance. And I'm having a blast! So much fun.)
Nice. I got an 81 cb750 a few weeks ago. It's got a few issues to sort out, or ignore. But it's super cheap to own compared to a newer bike.
>>28778354Based. I'd like to get an MGB GT with the fixed roof, I like the shoeish hatchback look
>>28778354CUTE!
There's a guy in my town who has one
>>28778396Are you in the UK? They were lucky enough to get GTs with Rover V8s!
>>28778354I do want one. They make my Z3's look fat.But I want a 330i ZHP first.
The one I'd really fancy would be a V8 roadster, which the factory never built so I'll have to find some drunk boomers old project. I also live not too far away from John Eales so I'd end up giving him £25k to turn the 190hp 3.9 into a 300hp 5.0 because the Rover V8 actually sucks in terms of power for any modern figures and is super expensive to get >250hp from.
>>28778687They should've built a factory V8 roadster alongside the GT instead of waiting 20 years
>>28778724Speak to the local MG club in your city. I have a member that has two fully dressed Rover V8s, completely rebuilt just sitting in his garage. Complete swap in.>>28778727They should’ve also built the V8 version in any quantity for the US at all.
>>28778820US cars would've been ruined by then. With the terrible impact bumpers, raised ride heights, and emissions.
