Isn't it weird how an offroad bike weights half as much as a normal bike but an offroad car weights twice as much as a normal car?
>>
Probably has something to do with one of these being more likely to fall over the slower you go.
>>

And the other is more likely to fall over the faster you go.
>>
I wish this was true. They way they make offroad bikes today, unless it started out as a honest to God dirt bike, is to take a successful street bike, fuck with the gearing, and make it heavier by using a more rigid and larger suspension. That's how you get a 400lbs mt07 and a 450lbs Tenere 700.
>>
>>28778632
Yeah, but they are both learner bikes, so they aren't designed to be fast
>>
>>28778635
Dirt adores learners. It refuses to allow more than ~50hp anyway.

Indeed, best place for learners as they are always falling off, and devating about how to countersteer, or park their bike.

What about dabike?
>>
>>28778632
TBF that was always the winning strategy for Dakar, the bikes just kept getting bigger and faster until the organizers finally set a limit.

Your 'offroad bike' is a purpose built machine while that suv is a do-it-all commuter.

A purpose built offroad car is quite different.

It is? The Jimny weighs less than 2500lbs, 2600lbs or so for the 5 door and is all the off roader that anybody needs. That weight is literally hundreds of pounds lighter than a normal car like a Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla.
"Offroad car" doesn't have to equal an F250, Suburban or Land Cruiser.
>>
>>28778685
Well, you're probably not wringing it's neck for 24 hours straight.

Nothing personal

by a lada no less

You do know that shit like CR250s were "replace piston and rings every 2 races or 8 hours", right?
Thats straight out of the owners manual.
>>
>>28778685
Do you ride 24 hours a day or do you think that interval means every 4 hours even if you don't ride it?
>>
yeah maybe if you're fucking stupid
>>
>>28778738
Your races take 4 hours?
How slow are you going?
I suppose it is a 250
