Currently I drive a Mercedes SLK230 Kompressor but my real dream car is a Corvette C5. I could hypothetically be able to get one soon, but what I'm worried about is how do these things actually handle? Obviously I would assume the Z06 would handle pretty well but let's assume the absolute most base version of the C5, these things are pretty uncommon and expensive where I live so I might not be able to get "the good version". The suspension and stuff is actually surprisingly advanced on the SLK so I don't wanna end up spending a whole bunch of money on a car that will end up being a downgrade in all but power, cause if that's the case then I'll just get the SLK 32 AMG instead.
>>28780766It handles like American muscle my guy.So not at all.
>>28780770Don't listen to this retardIt drives like a miata with power
>>28780780My SLK is basically a german miata so that would be exactly what I'm looking for
>>28780766depends what tires are on it
>>28780766you have shit taste
>>28780766>The suspension and stuff is actually surprisingly advanced on the SLKits literally mcdonalds struts with steel (cheap) uprights, meanwhile the vette is forged ally bones on all 4, what this means is that you are a wrenchlet
>>28780793>its literally mcdonalds struts with steel (cheap) uprightsThe 1st gen SLK has multilink in the back and double wishbone in the front, no mcpherson column in any of the versions, not even the cheapest ones. Maybe you got it confused with the later ones, I don't know what those have but I can imagine they could have mcpherson struts
