Whatever you do don't buy a Mr12Volt box. I got one a few months ago for my 2011 F11 with CIC iDrive and it's shit. It doesn't capture the iDrive controller properly so multiple times I have changed car settings unwillingly, like disabling triple indicators and DRLs or made phone calls by accident.
