Do RR cars have a single genuine advantage over MR cars, or do they simply exist for bragging rights?
thought that was one of those fuckass dolls boomers lean against their base-model corvette at car shows
You can swing their ass around during winter for some gnarly sik skidz.
its depends on how poorly enigneered it is
>>28784098easier driftingin some sense

RR cars only exist because it was the most practical way of having engine and trans on the same axle for a while. Then decent CV joints became widely available and FWD was the way to go for econoboxes. Rear engined sportscars are just a byproduct of that era
>>28784168>>28784175sk*ll iss*e
>>28784098Shits pointless, engine is inaccessible, cooling is a nightmare, the whole car ends up looking retarded compared to god mode FR, Porsche copes with this shit design by paying Michelin to make sticky tires in nog sizes.
>>28784098They're more prone to sudden loss of control than other layouts, so if you're good at driving them you can hold it over peoples heads.
>>28784185And I've been installing 4WD in 911s for a long time now
>>28784098The most recent peer reviewed studies proved that RR generates 7.6x the seethe with 0.4x the effort. The efficiency is remarkable and the only close correlation found was inverse with FF having only 0.4x the seethe with over 8x the effort. The scientific conclusion was that you got RBP. Again.
>>28784168>>28784175MR2s aren't even that bad to drive due to their layout. They're not nearly as skittish and are much more forgiving than a Škoda 110R or a Karman Ghia for example.
>>28784195id just take the truck
>>28784181skull issue
>>28784098Every layout of car has pros and cons. It's kinda like motorcycles, you just choose the one that plays the most into your respective strengths. Can I list every single pro and con? God no because that'd take forever.
>>28784168>>28784175MR2 is mid engine. A 2000s boxter is also mid engine. OP is talking about actual RR 911s
>>28784105i had the same thought lmao
>>28784098More cabin space since less of the engine bay and drivetrain is within the wheelbase. Kind of like how the 911 is able to have rear seats despite having a shorter wheelbase than the Cayman.
>>28784098Cabin space and traction.
RR layouts are great because they force you to not be a little bitch by killing you if you refuse to stop being one.
