Alright sisters after 30 years of nocar I have finally decided to commit to one
One problem is I don't know whether to go for a motorbike, van, or car
I'm using it to drive between towns of 100km+, daily driving and moving/storage/camping. What should I go with? I'm also poor and Australian, so shit is expensive

I'm leaning towards a Hiace

I had the same question, also I'm not Aussie and my cunt is at war, so we have no freedom or money.

100km+ is a lot, it's not too bad with a car. I'd buy a kei truck If I were you. You can't find anything more practical than this.

Good the old ones petrol or diesel are a workhorse that you can use for everything.

I won't be doing 100km+ all the time, but often enough it'll be a consideration
I'm leaning towards a van or a spacious car, but then the costs are absolutely outrageous

now srsly key trucks only have like 64hp
here are better options

Vanette
Lite Ace
Bongo 3

and if you ever get bored of it, drop in a 1uz, they used em in the jap ambulance models
>>
>check hiace sales
>20k+
OK that's not an option
I'm talking a hyper-low budget, like 5-7k max, including repairs, insurance, rego etc

Buying any car in that price range you're going to get a pile of shit which will send you broke.
Motorcycle life it is, earn some dosh until you can get a decent car which won't grenade itself two weeks after you get.
Bikes which are cheap
KLR
DR
Any honda 500cc

Both have the same running gear, one has room for a bed.
They're a bit pricey though.

Toyotas are notoriously unpopular in Australia. We valie cars that are ACTUALLY reliable, not just ones that have their marketing on point.
>>
>>28786586
No idea about how the car market in australia looks like but try some economybox in station wagon/combi/whatever you call it configuration. Motorcycle is cooler and you can go fast on a budget but if you need to haul stuff on the regular it's not amazing, vans you'll either pay a lot for or get absolute beaters that went from construction site to construction site for the last 20 years, so that's a good compromise.
