Texas effectively legalized kei cars (Japanese micro-vehicles) for road use by passing Senate Bill 1816 in 2024, which allows registration for models that are at least 25 years old, aligning with federal import rules and allowing them to be titled and driven on state roads under specific definitions for miniature vehicles.

Maybe in Albania.

In the European Union you have to pay absurdly high customs duties to import a car from another continent and fill out reams of paperwork "thanks" to bureaucrats in Brussels.

I live in Finland. If I purchase something online from outside the EU I have to pay a tax on it. They don't call it a tariff even though that's exactly what it is.
>>
>>28789648
Aside for the import duties which can quickly skyrocket, there's next to no limitations for importing whatsoever

Tää, ehkä ainoo hyvä asia harrastajille tässä maassa, sen lisäks että virittämistä kevennettiin
>>

The business of statecraft is a race to the bottom and a politician is cheap to purchase these days.

VAT? A few states have something similar for cars. Georgia has what's called the Ad Valorem Tax, which taxes the vehicle based on a state-assessed value when it's registered in Georgia.

The production run of the Renault Clio V6 RS began in 2001. Who doesn't want a mid engine rear wheel drive hot hatch with a V6 that can be tuned to 400+ HP?
>>
>>28790094
now it can be yours, assuming any were still left in drivable condition and not smashed into a tree by Aziz a long time ago

European cars scare me. Imagine importing a French car no one knows how to repair and being unable to source parts for.
