Once the exorbitant US subsidies for green power died, it was hilarious to read the articles on contraction of offshore wind and the failure of proposed projects on the Eastern seaboard due to cost, security and environmental concerns. A bunch of the main oil companies are divesting from that kind of thing and coming back down to reality. BP was the first to do it early last year as they were literally going to go bankrupt playing the pretend green game. Everybody else is now stuck in trying to raise their reserves because they've faffed about for nearly a decade and not kept up on new exploration for petroleum.
