Man RAM has gotten expensive these days
>>
>>28795907
What is that front end? Are they trying to set off people with trypophobia??
>>
>>28795907
Not for what you're getting. A Bighorn 3500 which is a step up from a base model went for $44k in 2005 which is $73k in todays money. Now compare that to that thing which is essentially like a Rolls Royce that makes 430hp and almost 1100ft.lbs that can also tow 40k lbs. Not bad value for $100k when you look at what garbage $100k gets you these days.
>>
>>28795907
much less expensive than a GR yaris per lb.
>>
>>28795919
Yeah except that person who bought one for 44k in 2005 is still making the same wage they made in 2005 today
>>
>>28795923
You actually believe the shit you say? It's easier than ever to make good money. If you can't figure out how to make $100k a year you should be in a thread bitching about expensive vehicles. Go back to working at a job for 3 months at a time.
>>
>>28795919
>essentially like a Rolls Royce
LMAO, there is no way you can believe that after driving one of those pigs
>>
>>28795960
Ironically these pigs are more luxurious than the average arab/chink bait executive sedan/SUV. Have fun never paying $250k for one, Bruce.
>>
>>28795970
Not everyone is so easily impressed by lipstick on a pig
>>
>>28795907
>adds literally every single option on top of the most expensive trim level of the most expensive model
>wtf this is expensive?
>>
>>28795927
Shalom, rabbi.

>sticking leather seats in a BOF chassis with a truck suspension

They could make the interior big enough to fit the average 500lb amerilard with accommodating NASA designed memory foam seats that could hold that much mass but it still wont change the fact it's riding on a glorified wagon axle. When that thing is a decade old and it goes over a speed bump you know what you're gonna hear? *clunk* Because the bed and cabin are only held in place by a few bolts. Try that in a decade old Lexus LX or S-class
>>
>>28796042
My SUV uses a solid rear axle with just leaf springs and 2 shocks and it rides better than most modern vehicles, luxury vehicles included. How well is a LX or S-class going to ride with a 40k lb gooseneck trailer attached?
>>
>>28796028
He's not wrong. If you aren't making at least $100k by age 25 it means you have sub 100 IQ. Your skin's melanin content may also give it away.
There's no other way to put it, anon.
>>
>>28796049
Cap nigga. No SUV in the world can tow 40k. Why are you comparing luxobarges to your own SUV by a standard it can't do either? If I need to have 40k of shit hauled somewhere I'll pay some mook in a truck to do it for me and I'll get there in comfort in my car because I'm not enough of a wageslave to turn my mode of transportation into a cuckcage that reminds me I have to be doing shit that makes me money.

Besides I've driven plenty of cheby and ferd trucks over the years (I'm not drunk enough to drive Rams) and my shitty Lexus blows them all out of the water in ride quality.

Imagine that! A luxury vehicle rides better than a truck! Holy shit what a revolutionary observation! Someone get the mensa on the line, we got a real genius over here!
>>
>>28796073
NTA but are you legitimately retarded
This whole discussion is about how apparently a Ram rides better than a rolls royce
>>
>>28796075
No. Some esl just doesn't know how to read. Nobody claimed that they ride like a Rolls. You get the cabin size and all the luxury features of a Rolls in a truck all for $100k. I don't know why you thirdies can't comprehend that.
>>
>>28796079
>Solid rear axle (to haul all the work a truck is expect to do)
>Ladder frame (again, to do trug shit)
>Fat springs (to haul the average amerilard ass)

Yes nancy, by design a truck cannot ride smoother then a car with a stiffer monocoque chassis and more compliant multi-link suspension. So by design, no a $100k truck is not more luxurious then a luxury car because it will always ride like a truck. And one of the features (are you still reading, do I have to jingle some keys?) of a luxury car is a smooth compliant ride.

And an S-class starts at $100k, they literally cost the same as this fucking thing but some reason burgers think it's pretentious to drive a German car but not this rolling penis extension because AMERIGUH, FUCK YEAH!
>>
>>28795907
Is that the Dodge RAM 4x4 SRT Hellcat demon SE with Bose speakers?
>>
>>28796079
>all the luxury features of a Rolls
Don't be silly. Ram doesnt have 6mm thick laminated glass in the doors, doesn't have foam filled tyres for sound reduction. Starlight headliner? Rolls is the top luxury car brand in the world for a reason.
>>
>>28797331
Those things sound dumb as fuck. I’ll take a diesel ram any day over some gaudy Arab coded shit like that.
