How does this happen? Is it usually letting off the throttle while going fast but not accelerating (just like with RWD)?How to correct it "correctly"? Flicking the steering wheel back and forth to counter seems to work fine while slowing down, could you power out of this? E.g. counter-steer and get on throttle?Very mysterious and hard-to-reproduce behavior, unlike oversteering where you just get on throttle in turn in FWD.

FWD oversteer is usually the lift-off kind, yeah. To correct it, point the wheels in the direction you want to go and mash the gas, the rear will follow.
>>28796798Braking into a turn causes the weight to shift forward off the rear tires and allows it to rotate around. Can be very unpredictable if your car is not set up properly.
>>28796798>How to correct it "correctly"?There is many ways to correct this, ultimately you want more grip on the rear (this typically comes with a tradeoff of less front grip, assuming the car already has a decent baseline setup. You can...>soften rear springs or stiffen front springs>soften rear anti-roll bar or stiffen front anti-roll bar>add some rear toe-in>lower rear tire pressure or raise front tire pressureFor a FWD car with mostly lift-off oversteer, a too stiff rear sway bar is the most common cause. Alignment is also incredibly important. Adding a tiny bit of a rear toe-in can make a big difference.
I had a minor case of lift off happen to me on a round about when wet, I didn't notice it until the back end was planted back down by accelerating out.
>>28796798Fwd oversteer? Is it possible to learn this power?! I assume not safely since I guess it only happens if grip is at limit and you can't just add power like on rwd.
>>28798752Try driving a Fiesta ST or Renaultsport Clio

Just put a wing on the back for some rear downforce.
