I want to start getting into harness building. Where is a good place to get quality loom wire? Real copper, not that CCA shit. Striped wires are a must, so I need to find combos like blue with yellow stripe etc etc. are there any hobby places or threads I can look into? Basically DIY painless wiring.
just buy tefzel or txl. wirebarn or wirecare.can find good connectors on ballenger motorsports.

Find an electrical supply company and get yourself some 16AWG/20pair armored instrumentation cable.
>>28796852great post. I used ballenger for a few of my harness connectors on my turbo honda haltech conversion. OP, be prepared to be 500$ into a custom harness after the wire, loom, terminals/pins, connectors, fuse blocks, etc.>>28796870a well thought out electrical system with your specific needs in mind and your own preferred routing and clipping is it's own reward and an investment in your future self. trust me it's amazing after you're done with it how you want it instead of working around OEM constraints especially if you can integrate a programmable PDM and CANbus switches into the mix.
