Two weeks until Budapest-Bamako. Transmission got rebuilt and new clutch got put in yesterday. Tomorrow the wheels are getting painted bronze color. Over the weekend / early next week it's getting a new headgasket. I still need to get the extra front and underbody lights installed and clean up my interior wiring for running the drinks cooler, starlink, on-board computer and cameras, navigation systems, etc. I'm super excited to get out to the desert again.

Nah, sorry. It was more of a curiosity to me, didn't find out until later that it wasn't a riced out larp-narp-mobile when the owner told me about the various trips he did, including a Dakar journey. He's also rich enough that I believe him.
