Does anyone else feel disenchanted and tired of being "an enthusiast"? Maybe this is more of a location problem but Bongland is tiring bros.Insurance, repairs, taxes, post coof clown world traffic... I'm so tired.I'm throwing in the towel and getting myself the slowest possible shitbox for least amount of money and never looking back.
just move to america like your ancestors who actually wanted to live for once did
Go for it. More than one Londoner has run a JCB as a commuter car.
Shouldn't have given up your guns.
>>28800742>implying anon was even alive when that happenedHis parents probably weren't even alive yet judging by 4chan demographics.
>>28800732Oddly an increasing number of brits are moving to Poland.
My impression of bongland is that your goberment is making everything tiring, at least for native brits like, I've seen you guys complain about>owning a TV for anything else that's not public TV like videogames>owning a car>registering a car>owning land>becoming a registered farmer>paying taxes>owning a landline>having an internet connection
>>28800732Since I'm not a Somalian I can't enter easily and land on my arse with thousands in my pockets from scamming the federal government.
>>28800746UK Government is there to make things fun for themselves and their friends. Increasingly it is there to make life fun for rich foreigners.
>>28800745> an increasing number of brits are moving to PolandActual brits or nu brits (i.e. naturalized polish immigrants or children thereof)?
>>28800730>getting myself the slowest possible shitbox for least amount of moneyI got myself a second hand kia Picanto, it's the most barebones edition you can get, manual windows, no AC, no silly functions or buttons. It's great, it's cheap, runs around the country on little fuel, it's almost a toy. It's not cool or fast but when you need a car, it's reliable and cheap, I've even driven it from Holland to Sweden without hiccups.
>>28800768Yeah...My choices are picanto, i10, swift, mazda 2.I will be getting rid of my 130i with n52.
>>28800773>bongs are even getting cucked out of UDMs nowGrim.
>>28800755Why haven't you guys tried to overthrow the government? No need for guns cuz your police doesn't have them either.
>>28800781Bongs get thrown in jail for Facebook posts, how exactly are they supposed to organize an uprising?
>>28800781You have no idea how cucked people are here.Man I cannot even begin to describe my peers who are mostly genuine faggots, corporate drones or metrosexuals who care for nothing but latest netflix dramas about faggots kissing in steamy showers.I wish I was wrong.
>>28800781Cops have guns, brit cops tend to keep them in safes.I've been in in a police station when a dozen guys got a call out and all of them had snub nose revolvers. You won't see that unless someone needed a good shooting.
>>28800781All the strong men sailed out to conquer the world and eventually settled America, leaving mostly serf-like weaklings behind. Then two world wars took care of any remaining strong men.The modern-day yurocuck is nothing but a serf-like weakling, perfectly content to slave away for his overlords as they import more and more brown people to replace his kind en masse, and tax him out the ass to subsidize their existence.
>>28800788How did the French do it against the nazis anon? You don't need internet technically.
>>28800795Winning that war took America's help.
>>28800773>N52 130iDONT ITS THE LAST GOOD BMW 6 BANGER AND ON THE LIGHTEST CHASIS TOOSEND IT TO ME AT LEAST
>>28800730I feel you, but I keep going anyway both out of sheer spite and because this car is one of the only things that brings me genuine joy. I happen to be picking up a runaround shitbox tomorrow so I can park this fucker up to do proper work whenever it needs it.
Just bought a rust-free and functioning manual miata for $4k. $175 registration. No inspections of any kind, I could run catless. Just got in from doing a couple redline runs on nearly-empty roads.Yeah, OP, it's a location problem. There's gotta be more to life than working just to work and your gov't doesn't see that.
>>28800820Yearly MOT on 18 year old car430 tax pa500 ish insurance pa£1.30 per litre£70 per 1h labour minimum at local garageIt be what it is.
>>28800829Yes we get it, you're getting railed up the ass. Maybe do something about it instead of bitching on a Taiwanese finger puppet forum?
>>28800829By Grabthars Hammer these things are tax and thus MOT exempt. Cheap motoring awaits you.
>>28800773>picanto, i10, swift, mazda 2.I'd choose1. Mazda2, but I bet i's the most expensive2. Kia Picanto, solid3. Suzuki Swift, wouldn't want a turbo economy car4. Hyundai i10, don't know, not sold here
>>28800730>Maybe this is more of a location problemDefinitely. I'm in the US in a place with no inspections, we have no displacement-based tax (weight-based registration is still no more than $30 more for a Suburban-sized car than a Smart), gas is as cheap as it was over a decade ago (about £0.51/L converted), we don't have speed cameras, let alone those car-mounted "mobile" speed cameras, and insurance is very affordable, unlike the thousands of pounds a year I hear some Brits paying. Cities and driving in them is shitty globally, post-coof traffic is definitely one shared problem, but we haven't yet done anything as brash as the 20mph speed limits that have gone up in places like London. It seems like you guys just (understandably) immediately jump to the tiniest subcompact city cars when you want to save money, while in the US your average poorfag is much more likely to be driving a clapped out truck or SUV with a large V8 as a "runabout", since aside from the worse MPG (made negligible by cheaper fuel) it costs about the same to run while being very reliable and cheap to maintain otherwise. It's also why to your average Burger normie, the half-decent MPG you get from a shitty crossover seems amazing - and also why non-luxury sedans are now nearly a dead class of vehicle here.
>>28800795Nazis didn't have all-seeing surveillence, so frenchies could slip through. There was a balance of surveillence tech vs communication tech. Nowadays surveillence controls communication.
>>28800848>insurance is very affordable, unlike the thousands of pounds a year I hear some Brits paying. For what it's worth, I only pay about £350 a year for picrel. >>28800805The thousands per year are usually young drivers (which is really shit don't get me wrong FUCK the insurance jew) or retards that can't help but get themselves scammed.
>>28800829Well that's not so bad, I am that anon btw. Even the $4k '90s miat I mentioned is $1400/yr in insurance and I'm almost 40 with no tickets in 13 years.Consider that I have to pay for my health insurance as an American though. I have to pay $10,500 every year JUST for premiums for the cheapest plan the gov't offered me. So, you might be better off than you think.
>>28800730Mate, you have no idea how good the UK has in terms of car ownership compared to most other countries. The absolute worst we have is our super draconian laws on speeding. It's ok to stab 14 people to death since you're a zesty wog, that's 2 hours of community service and the families of your murder victims have to pay to wash all the blood out of your clothes. But if same zesty wog is caught doing a no no speed you will be intercepted by HMS Daring with a Cruise missile and suppressive fire from a 4.5 inch naval gun. You can make your own car in a shed, as long as it has indicators and shit you can register it with the dvla. Insurance is pretty arse, but it's arse everywhere. Our second hand market is absolutely fucking superb, with great choice from your shitboxes to shitboxes with V8's, to really nice cars for cheap. You look for the same cars on the mainland and it's so much painfully higher, and worse in selection. We get the cool shit from europe, the cool shit from here which are all shedbased smol cars. While we don't generally get the cool shit from the US, we can get most of them as long as we are willing to pay all the extras to import + vat etc. Fuel cost here isn't great, not as good as the US but generally better than a lot of euro countries. The taxing is based mainly on co2, not displacement or weight thank fuck. And if you get an older car from before april 2006 regardless of co2 amount you get a far more reduced rate and if you get a classic you don't pay tax or have to MOT either. The problem we mainly have is how draconian they deal with speeding unlike in the US where you get caught doing 160 mph on an empty motorway because you fancied going for a raz and the officer either tells you to take it easy or gives you an $80 fine or some shit. Another issue is a lot of car culture is just quashed by either police or eternal faggots moaning you were doing 30.0000002 in a 30 or your exhaust can actually be heard.
>>28800848The insurance thing for young driver is a real reality here. But once you hit 25 it massively dips. But a lot of people don't realise it's also what you drive as well. And i don't mean you must drive the tiny pod kind of thing. For example if you have say mitsubishi Evo X with it's 2 litre and you have the 300 odd bhp one or a Golf R. The insurers will fucking crucify you. If you buy say an Aston Martin DB9, you will pay less. Simply because scruffy oiks tend not to buy Aston Martins, or a Morgan. As they tend to be driven by people who don't instantly wrap their car round a tree.Though the mpg thing does ring true on daily drivers generally.
