Am I retarded and missing something or did the Cars.com app remove the "advanced search" filters off the app and replace it with a worthless AI search bar?
Found a screenshot of the old interface. Simple things like searching by price and year seem to be missing from the new interface.
My theory is this isn't simple incompetence by the company but more sinister. Them making it harder to find stuff you want and instead rely on some AI prompt generation instead of simple filters will force you to have to search multiple times over and thus they'll have more opportunities to show you ads.
This app force updated on me I was just on here earlier this week and the "advanced search" bar was still there. Are there any other Car buying websites or apps y'all use? Craigslist isn't as popular anymore. Auto trader still has normal search filters but I find ads stay up far too long on there
if you buy your cars outside of fbmp you are a bitch nigga
>>28802409>allowing faceberg and the gov't to harvest everything you do on your devices so you can look at car listingsBitch nigga. You won't find me with fb cookies.
>>28801740>Are there any other Car buying websites or apps y'all use?you Boomers really haven't hopped on Facebook Marketplace yet? ngmi retards- you go where the normies post their cars for sale. Who the fuck uses Cars.com LEL
>>28801726cargurus is all you really need now
>>28802451Thanks for the good input
nationwide listings were a huge mistake and only served to drive up costs in the used market. fuck you and anyone else who uses them.
>>28801726Just use autotempest, it aggregates all the usual sites and has good filtering options. Also this >>28802413marketplace is where the good shit lives
>>28802413>>28802409Facebook is good for private sales but. Bur you can't filter things like door count and 4x4. Also most large dealerships don't advertise on there. Which if you want a newer car you're more than likely gonna have togo thru.
>>28802510I disagree, You can use it as a powerful buying tool at a stealership. >Car listed $5K over MSRP for a "fair market adjustment"Well you can show the salesman what similar cars are selling for.
>>28801726what are the "research tools" at the bottom
>>28802511I'll check it out thank you.
>>28802519It takes you to their website to help you find a car model "right for you" probably just another way to steal more data from you.I'm a man I don't need to be told what car model I should be looking for I know what I want.
>>28801726Also I know I'm in /o/ but doesn't this piss anyone else off? The retardafication of a once decent search engine? What happens if more car websites end up like this? What then? skiming thru fuckin auto trader magazines?
