Red pill me on the 07 Escalade ext, there’s a super clean low miles one for sale locally. I’m thinking of buying it. 89,000 miles, one owner, 16.5k
Bump
>almost 20 year old car for $16.5kfucking why? are you planning on filming rap videos anytime soon?bro this shit is ugly. At least it's a simple chevy v8 but man that is some horrendous mpgs as well.
>>28805878Not everyone wants a current year econo shit box. And some aren’t poor and don’t give a shit about mpg
>>28805780>Ancient gm>A gorillion milesMoney6/10. Low effort
>>28805925You're poor for wanting a 20 year old Escalade only because it's 16k bro
>>28805974no you're poor for financing a 50k new car
>>28805974 I’m paying in cash retard
>>28805780Good cars (as are most non-North star caddys)You can get them for even less, they have bling factor and delightful gimmicks while still retaining simplistic design for the drive train. You'll feel like you're floating on a cloud but you won't win races (stock) you won't sip fuel either not that you care. If you plan to do any truck stuff beyond hauling hoes in the bed then you'll be in for a rude awakening because that won't be a builders rig. One thing to note about owning a cadillac is people WILL treat/interpret you differently. It's real, even the enthusiasts who talk down on cadillacs alter how they approach conversing with you be it of falsely premised envy or try to play you for laughs you'll be suprised either way. Be prepared to be referred to as "Boss" or "chief" frequently, I didnt believe it at all until I rode around my mid 90s' Fleetwood and observed the image change. And while they're not the best escalade thr very first wave of escalades are appreciating in value due to their impact on the American car market, American culture, and how they altered the perception of wealth (Being associated with an SUV rather than a Full sized luxury sedan)
>>28805780The previous gen is the one you want preferably. More iconic looks (subjective), 4L65 problems instead of 6L80 problems, but you get a bulletproof 6.0 LQ9 instead of an L97 6.2L that's known for eating lifters. '07 predates the AFM shit being active that would have to be disabled, but the mechanical bits are just the same and have the same risk of failure, although it's reduced somewhat by AFM not being active. There's been lawsuits about it over the years, even. There's also reason that when you see a line of GMT800 and GMT900 Escalades in the junkyard, the LQ9 6.0 is the one that everybody rips out to use for swaps, while the L97 6.2L has virtually none of that reputation despite having a bit more power out of the box (easily nullified as the Vortec engines are heavily restricted from factory).Even with one owner and 0 rust I see that as rather pricy, although if you're set on a GMT900 it at least means you have a better chance at having a reliable car with that low mileage since you'll be able to do things like oil changes on time. I've owned plenty of "notoriously unreliable" cars and never had issues just by keeping a regular maintenance schedule FWIW.
>>28805780>one owneryes but what race is he?
>>28805780>red pill>Nigger car>2007
>>28806209I actually have 2 2nd gens, 1 ext and 1 base. I love them both but I have no experience with the 6.2 other than stay away from 09 and new bc of the lifter or cylinder shut down issue.
