That's because they sell a van. Vans are superior to pickups.
>>28819599I never understood this about them. They could make so much money if they made their version of the Hilux.
>>28819599Their new logo bent the knee to Saturn, or at least highlighted it more. Fwiw
>>28819599The 660cc Honda Acty has picked up and hauled more things than the average white man.
>>28819610>Insists apon CVTs.
>>28819663CVT is pretty much an American thing.FFS please don't export that shit.
>>28819599Their planes suck btw. Second worst private jets in the air (Cirrus Vision takes the cake for worst and I am speaking from a buddy's experience with them). There is a reason why nobody buys Hondajets and that the industry only tends to purchase Citations, Challengers, Phenoms and Gulfstreams, as a rule.>>28819608There are a ton of companies like this in Asia:>Hitachi>Thunder Tiger>Sanyo>Panasonic>Hyundai>Mitsubishi>Fuji (which includes Subaru btw)>SamsungThe list goes on, they simply do stuff that they believe will become a profitable venture or absorb a smaller business that seems profitable.
>>28819599>missiles>aircraft>satellites and space capsules>all manner of trains and train accessories>warships>industrial robotics>waste water systems>civil construction>commercial construction>gas turbines for all purposes>nuclear power equipment>submarines>tunnel boring machines>earth moving equipment>oil rigs>electronics>jetskis>ATVs>dirt bikes>road bikesThere's nowhere on, in, or above earth that kawasaki cannot find you.
>>28819599>company makes useful things>why don't they make useless shit instead?american logic
>>28819599don't forget rockets and jets too!
>>28819635It's a throwback to a classic logo, brainlet.
>>28819759>SanyoI had a Sanyo TV with VCR back in high school. I never knew they were that big of a company
>>28819608>>28819599Toyota has a bigger market cap than all these companies and all the make is cars.
>>28819599>>28819608>large conglomeratesD:>large conglomerates, Japan:D
>>28819599Never made a V8 powered road car either.
>>28819599They are a FWD company.
>>28822187ackshually
>>28822884I'm going to go for a limp and say that's a rebadged range rover V8, isn't it?
>>28819608It really is something how many industries Yamaha at least has its toes dipped into
>>28822929they either in music or automobiles its not like theyre making furniture or clothing
>>28819599>doesn't make a real pickup truckThey dropped it because they couldn't compete with the superior Daihatsu's and Suzuki's.
>>28822183Wrong
>>28819759>MitsubishiThey have made midsize pickups for a long time.
>>28819599Saturnian logo
>>28822968But they do make furniture and clothing. And chairs and fucking tennis rackets among a gazillion other things.
>>28822183>>28823194Lol this.Step into a warehouse and you'll see dozens of Toyota and Nissan forklifts.Mitsubishi and Hyundai I guess make forklifts too but I don't see them as often as Toyotas.
>>28823207they basically havent made their own pickup in north america since 1996. I dont count the Raider since that was a rebadged Dodge Dakota entirely built by Chrysler. The Raider was a failure anyway, lasted only from 06 to 09 and sold only ~22k units. They're a rare sight but ive seen probably 3 or 4 in the last 6 months here.no idea how much success theyd have in the usa if they produced tritons in the us, but theyre clearly successful enough in every other market.
>>28819759>Hyundaithey do, somehow. I dont think many people like them though since theyre just a tuscon with a truck bed. Although just today news came out that Hyundai plans to axe the santa cruz and replace it with a larger pickup
>>28819599>just got sued because their v6 is poorly builtHonderbros...
>>28827862It’s just the “earth dream” version forced on them By the USA psycho epa/climate change nutsNormal j35 is untouchable.
>>28819599>doesn't make a real pickup truckLet me guess you need more?
>>28828290I really want one, but I'm worried they're going to unveil a hybrid in like two years and I'll be seething I didn't wait. The horrible MPG is the only major drawback of the Ridge for me.
>>28826073Mitsubishi's main attraction is their 4WD system, which has high/low range, terrain select and the ability to drive in 4WD at all times, including on dry pavement.
>>28819663Honda Odyssey and Ridgeline both have V6 motors and 10AT, not SneedVTs.
>>28819599A pickup truck doesn't need to tow to be useful. That is what the bed is for.
