What do you think of road legal but clearly track focused cars?
>>
>>28824432
i tihkn you'll never afford one and probably jerk off to transexuals.
>>
>>28824439
>so mad he fumbled his post
lmao
>>
>>28824439
If I really wanted one, I would buy a kit car

And what do cars have to do with transsexuals?
>>
>>28824432
Pretty pointless. Driving to and from the track is really retarded and if you're trailering in your shit it doesn't need to be street legal. If it doesn't need to be street legal then you should just buy an actual track car which will outhandle the halo car for a fraction of the price.
>>
>>28824432
They're cool but I'll probably never want one.
Track days are like ski trips, all snobby rich jock wannabes. I'll take a subcompact hatch parking lot food tray drift sesh any day.
>>
>>28824439
the only trannies I jerk off to are manual transmissions heeheehoho hehe sonny
>>
>>28824432
They're awful. Neither fish nor bird trying to fly and swim. Too much of a wet noodle to be a real racecar so you're obviously not chasing speed or competition. Too shitty to drive on the road and the added headache of needing to insure and register the car if you do have plans of driving it on public roads.

It's a cute idea until you think about the realities of it. The days of driving to a big sportscar race in the car you race in then driving home are long gone. You're better off getting a more reasonable roadcar to take to the track to enjoy or getting a full-fledged racecar if you mean business.
>>
>>28824432
Who cares? They're all conspicuous consumption objects for new money. Unless it's like a Factory Five Type 66 or something.

I agree. GT3 cars are the best race cars of all time and the homologated street cars are the best and most you should bother with.
M3 and 911 and corvette and RCF and R8 Camaro Mustangand all this are common, relativity easy to fix, pretty fast, can just drive to the track and drive home and have an easily accessible dealer network.
At the end of the day there’s always a faster car and a way to go faster if you want to spend more money. GT3 solved the problem for autos by just setting a lap time goal and BoPing cars that go over it.

A track fag just needs to pick a performance window and focus on driving instead of chasing more power or weight. The auto makers figured out how to stop burning money on going faster and you’re a fool to not follow suit.

I kean lets be honest, these are not real sports cars. They are lifestyle cars with sporty styling and most people just call them hairdressers cars.
>>
>>28825331
>most people just call them hairdressers cars
No they don't. if they've been well executed to their original mandate they should be at LMP1 or 2 levels of performance - something an M3 can only dream of
>>
>>28824653
>If it doesn't need to be street legal then you should just buy an actual track car which will outhandle the halo car for a fraction of the price.

lol your shitty formula ford or e30 race car isn't out handling a bone stock GT3 RS

this seems like a lot of cope from a brokie
>>
>>28825331
>most people just call them hairdressers cars
You have no idea what that term means. Hairdresser cars are sporty little roadsters with minimal power, not super/hypercars.
>>
>>28824432
They're great in the UK or Europe where you're never an hour away from a track or hillclimb.
Shit in America where your nearest track is a semi-paved drag strip 6 hours away.

another retarded cope

California alone has more world class race tracks a half a days drive than the UK

Someone mention track focused car?
>>
>>28824432
>track cars with motorbike engines
Pretty cool, can be dialed down to be the peak backroad blaster too
>track cars with turbo V8 and V12 engines
Curious how anyone could reasonably take one of them to the limits.
>>
>>28825396
How is this any different than any other country? Be glad that people internationally at least recognize different states and not just one or two cities. California, Texas, and New York are the only states to actually contribute anything to the US or the world anyway.
>>
>>28824432
I don't see the point unless they're relatively cheap. if you've got the sort of money to buy things like that aston then you've got the money for a dedicated track car and a trailer
>>
>>28825432
Are flyovers obsessed with funding Israel for any particular reason?
>>
>>28824439
Traps are cute and heckin based
>>
>>28824432
I think you can go just as fast for a lot less with a track only car
>>
>>28825364
If these supercars and hypercars are so much faster than formula cars and such why aren't they competing or winning any hillclimb races? This won the Pikes Peak. Not the Porsche's.
>>
>>28825386
How many world class tracks exactly? How many F1 races held in California?
Also California is still a massive are, there may be a lot of tracks but most areas are still 2 hours away from the nearest track.
>>
>>28827568
Okay but that's not a 30 year old 100hp formula Ford
>>
>>28827604
Okay so don't buy a 30 year old 100hp formula Ford? You can get one of those Norma's with a 3L Judd V8 used for $100k. It's 1300lbs lighter than that AM.

For some reason a lot of modern audio technology comes from the south/midwest.
>>
>>28825385
This type of stuff is cool to me, Spending $250K+ on a car that is beyond my ability to drive at the limit, seems like pointless posing.
>>
>>28825389
I have two tracks within a 45 minute drive of me in Washington.
2 hours is Portland international raceway.
America's got a lot of tracks.

>>28827602
F1 doesn't really care how good or bad the circuit is.
They only care about the amount of money they're making per event.
So that's a bad comparison.
>>
>>28825396
Remove California and that's literally how I viewed the US as a kid
I also thought that Chicago was in Texas and LA in New York
