Anon what's your favorite wheel?
>>28830307
any reproduction wheel because it makes snobs soooooo angry lol
>>28830307Super Advans tri spokes, easily.
>>28830383Yes buy an aluminium wheel that's heavier than a steelie that will totally pwn the elitists
>>28830391That'll also crack in half when you fail the drift into the curb. Reps are for broke larpers who don't value long term ownership
>>28830307Why's it on stilts?
>>28830381>nooo that car is LOWERED you LITERALLY can NOT drive it ANYWHERE without the front bumper coming off!!!
>>28830381hmmmm
My favourite wheel.>>28830307Very similar design to mine except mine is a graphite colour.
Occasionally find great deals on marque forums for these. Great looking wheel and very lightweight.
>>2883047110k for those vs 4k for Apex chinkshit
personal favorite that i've owned was my Lorinser RSK-5'shad some emotion CR Kai's on my shitbox in college that I miss as well always liked the meister s1's as well as the hardiritt ordens but they were always out of budgetlooking at picking up some lodiodrives for the truck soon though
AMG monoblocks are up there for me3 piece work meisters, work emitz are up there as well
>>28830485>>28830491Train wheels...THIS is a proper wheel
>>28830509uninspired. ugly. exactly what i would expect a wop to design.
>>28830307whatever these things are
>>28830307I generally like simple multispokes. OZ Superturismo, Speedline Turini, Ronal R8 and such. And turbine-style stuff is pretty cool too.
>>28830307A big fan of Enkei NT03s, particularly ones that aren't too dished in. The bracing ring and that bit of poke-out, beautiful.
>>288306193 spokes are underrated
>>28830307luv me mopar police wheels
Whitewalls, baby.
Of the 4th generation Jetta. Want to pick up a set for my Sportwagen sometime.
>>28830307the teddies
>>28830764BALLIN'
>>28830764>they're actually Twingo-sizedFantastic.
>>28830713Caddy sombrero's and wide whites are truly beautiful.>>28830764Love those Ronal Bears.Wheels are so car specific, there,s not one wheel that suits sverything. I'm running Wats at the moment, because they suit my car, not because they are my favorite wheels.
off top of my head I'd say ah desmond Evo. best set up I've ran was mk4 Wolfsburg edition bbs' I scored on fb for 300$ and slapped them on my gti vr6
>>28830773choppin blades nigga
>>28830307These for trugg rims. They look good with a meaty AT.
>>28830307I've always liked the S71 High spoke version.Too bad they started making Chinese versions of their USA made wheels.
The enkei wheels that came on the IS500 a couple years ago looked pretty sharp
These, Te37's or of course LMGT-2's
>>28830893Throw speedline 2013c's on that list and you're golden
>>28830919forgor about those :3 thx
>>28830307Carrera
gonna have to go with the starfishes on the sn95's
>>28830887Would look better without the lift-kit
>>28830998Trips of truth
Sport Classic
Whatever these are. I forgot the name.
>>28830819>Desmond (Rigamaster) EvoBased. They have become really popular on Australia's mega dollar drag GT-R's. Apparently they're the lightest. Desmond also make the Spoon SW388, which I think is the same, but with different colour and graphic.
The cross wire spoke wheels on my motorcycle.
>>28830470>>28831161I like the look of chromed wires too, but they're really heavy and difficult to keep clean.
Whatever these are
>>28830996tri-bars are cooler tho
>>28830998Apparently a 1in wheel gap is a lift kit now.I fucking hate you brown skinned fags
>>28831725Browns love the slammed look
Older Alpina wheels, like this B10.
Sold this particular set after I sold the car, but it was a great designMight get another set to go with my qv, but picrel are too skinny for 500hp
>>28831774Isn't that basically stock wheels? I like the tecnico for qv desu
>>28831777It's very close to stock pre-22 wheels, but 22 and later have some mega-gay flat dish machined face abominationsMy QV is grey with dark technicos and I don't dislike them, buy that's what was available and my preference would have been a more fun color and bright wheels
Anyone here import wheels from Japan? How much is shipping usually?
I like the front wheel more than the rear wheel.
>>28831891If you have to ask that, you're too late. Last year was the latest you want to ask that question because the tariffs ruined the importing japanese parts game. On top of $400+ in shipping you'll have to pay an import duty too. I think it's 15%.
I really like clean ones of this type. I interchangeably call the design Split-5s, 5Ys, 5Us.They don't go well on everything though. On some cars I prefer simple straight 5- or 6-spokes.
>>28830399Unironically true if you hit a parking curbstone you're gonna rip your shit off
>>28831912Fuck ;-;Wanted to get some oem+ 13" wheels for my kei.
>>2883195513" wheels are so cheap if almost doesnt matter, but you're not going to find tires for it. There's Bart decent choices for 14s
Hard to beat wogblades
>>28832009The wheels I've been looking at on yahoo auctions jp are like $65 for a set of 4. So the tariff is nothing but spending like 6x the cost of them for freight isn't worth it.I already have tires in mind. Maybe I'll have to track down a set of wheels from an old civic or a Hyundai accent or something
>>28832009Wow I didn't proof read that at all, sorry
>>28831950Why is everyone on this board so fucking disingenuous?
toyota splits for 4x4
I love these round hole mangels.
>>28832363they don't like seeing anons have a fun time
>>28831914These look a little like the other stock giulia wheels
>>28832973A lot wheels have similar design
>>28832893They also don't want to actually discuss GOOD carsThey just want to L.A.R.P. on a fucking anonymous Indonesian metal casting forum with their grandma's carsIt's so... WEIRD
>>28833024So leave, nigger
>>28833256>nooo don't reveal my grandma car L.A.R.P.ery!!Kek cry pussy nocar benchricelet busracelet boyrider
>>28833283>drilled rotorsWtf is this honda civic ass shit
>>28833591Ome have the few things that's still stocke on that car
>>28832051>155 80R13Lowriders run that size. Will be available in the US.
i have a set of superleggera 3 on my CLK and im planning on getting these AMG wheels as well. but im not sure if i should keep the superleggera, as they are a bit roughed up. the ultraleggera look nice as well but i cant find them near me
>>28834429That's a clean design and nice coat/finish. Would look good on many different cars.
>>28830307my favorite wheel is the one inspected by AKHMED MUNIR
How come nobody mentioned Dayton spoke wheels just yet? The lack of taste in this board is beyond measure.
>>28830307I prefer the tweel
I like the round ones
>>28833600Yeah but very very few lowriders are 4x100 56.1mm boreAnd the ones that are, are the definition of "mexiflush"
>>28834523Surely you can find wheels for an E30 or an old VW, they're 4x100 with a 57.1mm center bore. Add a hubcentric ring and you're good.
I need an irl equivalent
>>28830307Depends on the car, but I really like OEM BMW Style 5 BBS wheels, specifically the ones from the E38 as they were the widest available in this exact style from the factory.Fun fact - 15" Style 5's from an E30 will fit an NA and NB Miata *perfectly*.
>>28834639all i get is this
>>28834523I was talking about the tyres, rather than the wheels. Wires can be ordered in normal or reversed offsets. Lowriders run the reversed style, of course.
>>28830393Cry more!
The 4 spoke mk 2 Supra wheels are baller too
Minilites, they are often not the absolute top pick for a car but there is a huge range of cars that would look significantly better if they just stuck them on it. And most people have poor taste and make their shit uglier than just using minilites.
>>28834845Also for the love of god do not make them fuckhueg with low profile tires that looks like ass
>>28834845>>28834847good taste
>>28830307W123 steelies with the paint matched hubcaps
>>28830887>>28830631>>28830381>>28833024nice modern options. I love the weird dish shit, but it looks so out of place on (almost) anything from 2010 or later>>28831914I'm considering the OZ version of this design for my summer wheels, but kinda don't want something so similar to my winter rims
>>28836773Many cases where the stock wheels and caps are the best option, to avoid looking like a redneck/gypsy/bogan.
>>28830471Yeah these are my favorite wheel.
>>28834617I mean I could get a set of steelies easy, but there's some neat things that were available
>>28834708
>>28836789>but it looks so out of place on (almost) anything from 2010 or laterMonoblocks are the modern nice wheels>I'm considering the OZThose are some good wheels, WalterI'm considering some for a couple cars when the time comes>rims>ebonics
>>28837009Old VWs had some pretty neat 13" alloys that might be easier to source locally, that's what I meant.
>>28837017Hmm, I'll look into it. I normally completely overlook vw for obvious reasons
>>28831097>>28831777>>28831794>>28832363>>28833283proper ricers, all of you kek.
>>28837557
>>28839844>my based nigga with the sawblades
Helicopter rims
>>28840281heh kinda reminds me of a hvac impeller fan
sorry not sorry
>>28830307Slots.Yes, I am an old man.
lol this CAN'T be ALL AI-botssome of these niggas in here must be a normie like me..how many posts in here have came from a REAL human?
>>28842424>NB Sport 15"s. I think I have three loose ones of those in my barn.>>28843300Botposting is incredibly rare on this site, it's harder to do than you might think. The whole "botpost" thing is a schizo fantasy because one day someone pointed out that most net traffic is software web crawlers (that index sites for search engines) and someone took it and started telling everyone "half of all posts are bots!!11!" Then people started believing it.
>>28843308tots...you SOUND like a bot though my NIGGAHI'm not prejudice though, so blessings to all including ai-anons
>>28830307I have stock wheels on my mk7 golf gti, what should i replace them with?
>>28843330idk...try spiritualmaxxing bruh
>>28830307the left backwheel
>>28843330Get a set of Monzas. The only wheel where a machined face actually looks good, because the face is actually big.
Is buying new wheels for summer and keeping my winter tires on my stock wheels actually financially responsible to save money mounting and remounting the tires (and the damage to the tire bead that comes with that) or is it a completely aesthetic purchase and my money would be better served on something else?
>>28844786Purely from a money standpoint, how much does it cost to get your shit remounted twice every year, how much are you planning to spend on wheels, and how long do you need to keep them in order to break even?
>>28844789$1100 for the wheels$200 to mount and balance tires twice a year5.5 years to pay them off
I've always been fond of the American Racing Outlaw / Outlaw II.You mostly see them on trucks, but I think they look really nice on any classic car.
I like the alloy 8-hole wheels.
>>28844807If you've got a spot to keep the spare set, I'd say worth. You'll be able to recoup some money for the wheels in the event you decide to sell them off too.And a new set of wheels is a good way to completely change the look of a car without actually doing much.
>>28844807>$1100 for the wheelsmakes no sense for winter wheelsbuy a set of steelies or cop a cheap set of oem wheels from craigslist, otherwise don't bother
>>28844829>If you've got a spot to keep the spare setset of wheels and set of tires are the same size- the size of the tire
>>28844827Same because they resemble old mangels wheels which I like. I've been looking for these in 5x5.5 pattern, but finding them in Europe is quite difficult and when you do, ridiculously expensive
>>28845507My oems are kinda scuffed already from the previous owner. I was going to buy nice wheels for summer and use the curb rashes oems for winter
>>28845652then just buy nice rims with no consideration for how fast they'll pay themselves off, and keep oems as free winter wheels
