If "cars as a hobby" does come back in the next 10 to 20 years, it won't be focused around performance and racing, it will primarily about appearance and paintjobs. When the default car for normies is an EV that does 0-60 in under 5 seconds hardly anyone will actually care about performance and handling. The lack of interest in cars from zoomers is just the canary in the coalmine. The personal automobile is basically what the horse was 100 years ago. They'll probably continued to be portrayed in cool ways in movies and other media for a few more decades, but in terms of being important to the average person, that time is waning. Enjoy it while it lasts. The good news is that eventually, especially once boomers die off en masse, the cost of classic cars will plummet. Cars from the 1950s are already getting really cheap. 60s muscle cars will get super cheap in the next 20 years. Our only saving grace will be if 3D printing technology fully matures, and we'll be able to cheaply manufacture parts for cars. If that never happens, then yeah the hobby will be completely dead except among the rich

Pick up your phone, turn off wifi, and post like normal or tether your phone to your PC and post like that. Phone's IP banned? Just turn off cellular access and turn it back on for a new IP. Pretty easy.You could also use VPNs I assume. Or just go on another wifi network.There are probably several other ways.
