these guys are 10x for $3.
Why should I pay $15, 20, 25 + for a fancy magnetic drain plug?
whats stopping you from slapping one of these on your existing plug?
whats the worst that could happen? it aint gonna go far from the drain bolt.
>>
Just slap them on your oil filter instead.
>>
Glue them in a chevron pattern leading away from the oil pickup.

>fancy magnetic drain plug?
Doorman and Moog sell magnetic plugs for like $5 anon

Where at, rockauto?
>>

Got one off eBay.
Always use private sellers to avoid getting fake shit.

>fake drain plug
wut

instead of being magnetic north like it should be it’s magnetic south so it repels all the metal shavings and pushes them further into your engine.

Fucking faggot, you made me laugh. I'm still in little pain from surgery.
>>
If your oil pan is plastic or aluminum, I could see the remote possibility that it would get knocked off the plug and end up in the oil pickup. Still not a huge deal though. If your pan is steel there's really no chance of that so go for it if you want to save a couple dollars and have extra magnets.

Its painful.

I've been running these magnets in all my small engines. Holy shit they collect a ton of shit.
I run real magnetic tips in my car cause I'm not a poor.
But sure, these magnets can work fine in car engines as well.

Was it a boy or a girl?

Just dental. It's fine now.
>>
I put a strong magnets in my steel transmission pan and oil pans

Catches a lot of metal shavings, keeps my engine healthy, feels good man, pro grade trade secrets
>>
>>28844033
Why isn't the entire oil pan magnetized?
>>
>>28844325
If there's one spot that's magnetized it gets concentrated into a neat pile.
>>
>>28844325
The oil pan would get covered in magnetic road shit
>>

Many transmissions are made with magnets in the pan, I've seen it in Fords and Toyotas so I'm sure others do it, too.
