Shopping between a 2007-10 Armada v8, same years pathfinder 4.0 v6, and same years Mitsubishi Pajero

I am more familiar with the Pajero, know next to nothing about the Armada or Pathfinder...
Both v6 and v8 are timing chains right? how do they hold up at 150+k miles?

thanks

Don't buy a Nissan.
Get a Toyota or a Chevy or anything else.
100% serious.

shutup retarded american. Americans know nothing about nissan, i bet you think it has a cvt too

Aramada is easily better than the other two, body on frame, bulletproof vk engine, non cvt.. Good offroad and very reliable but terrible fuel efficiency.

Pathfinder is a non option, armada is better in everyway and iirc that gen pathfinder had cvt. Pajero is a pretty good vehicle but armada is better.

I know that it is a fucking shit box of the highest order, this company will be out of business in 5 years.
Broke nigger.

Pre 2013 pathfinders look exactly like armada and are regular auto no cvt, that is in the 13 + cuckfinder

My parents had one and regularly towed a camper with it, had no issues. They're on the same platform as the titan/frontier so yea they're solid.

Past 150k miles you'll either need a timing chain or primary cats.

Otherwise the '06-'12 pathfinder is 100% a frontier underneath, just has a third row and IRS.

transmissions are better than any ford/gm/dodge worst they get is solenoids (rarely but sometimes its the tcm above the valvebody)

engines are solid, timing chains start to wear out after 120-150k miles (earlier on pre-2010s since the secondary timing chain had sharp edges). cats can wear and either clog or break apart which gives them oil consumption issues since vct has exhaust gas reversion and sucks the honeycomb back up. heater hoses have a plastic t-fitting that breaks going into the heater core that can leave you stranded, replace it with the radiator and expansion tank. vq40s have plastic valve covers which by now are probably leaking.

on the plus side they don't rust at all if you're in the usa, any gm/ford/toyota product will be a complete rust bucket in comparison. and they tow 6000lbs if its a v6 and 7000lbs if its a v8. armada good to 9000lbs.

you dont need something that big, no practical use. get a prius.

>armada good to 9000lbs
TOTAL FRAME DEATH.

>or a Chevy
Assuming you can find a GMT400 or a GMT800 that didn't get raped by a zoomer or rust. GMT900 aren't much better than the R51 Pathfinders.

i bought my r51 because every gmt800 even in florida was either raped by zoomers/poor people or a rusty shitbox and gmt900s are shitboxes that nickel and dime you harder than any nissan product could

the nissans unironically have solid frames/bodies, transmissions, and okay-ish engines. biggest complaint i have is how bad the gas mileage is. 12mpg city 16-18mpg highway for a 270hp v6. that and my infotainment doesnt save the radio presets/clock settings.
