Wikipedia was throwing me for a loop when they were referring to the engine as an Ecotec. Seems Holden decided to call the 3800 an Ecotec for some reason.

Its the old Buick L67 3.8L V6, but they did some diddling to it to cut down on emissions and make it a tiny bit more economical
