This is my mom's '51 MG TD/C. Starts and shifts but no brakes or most lights. Headlights and RPM light works. 5,000 miles on the odometer, original matching engine verified online. Cork gaskets. Lead gas only. No seatbelts. US right hand drive model with US legal road tires. It is the "exlu" trim package (?). 1 owner. Failed smog check (first one in 1971) and been parked since.Can any british people here tell me what it's worth?

The difference between "trashed" and "barn find" is going to be the difference between "you should just give it away," and "you might make a bit". It doesn't look like these things generally go for all that much in generically restored condition. That thing looks rough and someone would probably have to put at least $7000 in to get a $10000 car out of it.
