What even is the point in these tiny ass rear windshield wiper blades anymore?

you think that's small?

I dunno guys, those look pretty big to me...
>>
>>28851974
Yeah they should make the blade longer for real. Nevermind that it would be longer than the window and wouldn't work anymore. It would look cooler and that's the important thing

Maybe they should add two like in the front.
>>
>>28851993
Pretty average honestly
>>
>>28852005
the blazer would need at least 3 to actually clear the window

There is no point. It's just a box ticking operation. In Japan modders replace the wiper with a drink can, so it looks like they're shaking the can. I could see using a plushie instead would be a fun adaptation.

Trump plushy would be perfect

They could just mount it below the window instead of in the middle of the window. The swedes figured it out >50 years ago.

I got you another one: why don't they put the reversing camera behind the glass in the area that can get wiped clean by the tiny wiper instead of above the plate where it gets disgusting as soon as it rains?
>>
>>28851994
Eccentric wipers exist.
>>
Every single car I've ever owned that didn't have a rear wiper. I wish it did.
Dirt and rain would constantly settle on it and this limited my rear view greatly.
Every car I've had that came with a rear wiper was absolutely useless and I almost never needed to use it.
It's only real benefits was to wipe the rear window clean from dirt.
Snow, rain, etc never needed.

Idk why it's like that.
>>
>>28851974
They only need to clear a small area on the rear window so that the rear view mirror can see directly behind since the side mirrors are supposed to be set to watch the lanes to the sides.

More relevant questions would be why does current style require a greenhouse so short, and why even have rear glass at all now?

maybe they should install a reasonably sized rear window so you could have some visibility again?

I use mine when it rains. In fact that's one of the reasons I avoid sedans, as 99% don't come with one in this hellhole. It's always mega annoying driving someone else's in the rain and not being able to clear the water from the rear window without stopping and getting out to do it myself.
>>
>>28854029
I honestly do until I realize I don't want to see some shithead following too close then I turn it off. It's situational I think. I'd use it when backing up so it makes it worth it imo.

How common are these in your country?

Me: pretty popular.
>>
>>28854074
>>28854087
despite my point i do actually use them when it rains, because i need to be able to see out the back. i didnt even notice most people didnt use it until a friend of mine was in the car and took notice of me using it, and after that i noticed how many people just didnt use it
>>
>>28854074
>one of the reasons I avoid sedans
have you tried rainx or anything like that yet? water isnt really an issue if it just rolls off from the wind going over the rear window on a sedan.
>>
>>28854074
what are you running from that you need to see out of your rear window so bad
>>
>>28853955
You'll shoot the part that the horse bit, or just the car in general?
>>
>>28854279
>just don't look out the back bro
Here's your car, bro
>>28854276
No because I don't own a sedan to begin with. I solved that problem by buying the wagon version instead as it has a rear wiper here. Rain-x also won't help if you're in slow traffic with little to no wind to push the water away.

>>28853785
god i miss my camry wagon. one wiper not working must've been a thing because when i had it some random made a comment about that lel
