Is /o/ looking forward to the Toyota GR GT?
Not really. By the time it rolls off production we'll be looking at 75k rehashed rc-f thatll still get btfod by a plain jane 5.0 gt stang
>>28852636No, I have a hard time giving any shits about yet another 6 figure shitbox for richfags to circlejerk over and buy "as an investment" and proceed to let it rot in a garage forever without ever driving it.
hell yes dude i am so freaking pumped for another $250k+ limited production supercar. it's such an underrepresented segment of the industry.
>>28852636>supercarlooks like a camry
>>28852636Only a handful of people here can afford it
>>28852636>looking forward to the Toyota GR GTYes, thank god they brought back the affordable 2 seat $40k sportscar
>>28852636i think grgt is a pretty cool car
>>28852636Nope. "Collectors" will buy all of them before they're on sale, they'll be $400,000 and slightly faster than a Dark Horse Mustang, and then only rich youtubers will drive them for about 2 years before selling them to anyone willing to buy them (after the market has been sufficiently hyped by by themselves). They'll be common on the internet for about a year then fade into irrelevancy. Yeah, I'm a little salty its yet another car for youtubers and people who have so many cars they don't care about this but had to find something to spend money on.
>>28852860yeah. it's all so tiresome really. looking at toyota's upcoming range and the demise of dodge it looks like mustangs will be the only na v8 on the market in future. apparently ford is going to expand the range accordingly. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/four-door-ford-mustang-super-saloon-pipeline
>>28852891>it looks like mustangs will be the only na v8 on the market in future.Possibly H-pattern manuals too. I've heard BMW might go with Tremec for their next manuals, but I think its a rumor? However Dodge is also rumored to be putting Hemis into everything, how you include a manual in a Hemi SUV or truck I don't think will happen like the SRT10 Ram back in the day. I haven't heard anything fun coming from GM; feels like they're usually 10 years too early or 10 years too late on their products. Corvette's only rumors are returning to front engine, but even then I don't see them ditching their current mid engine platform anytime soon to try and recover R&D costs.
>>28852899i thought stellantis had killed off ice dodge's completely? i hate europeans so fucking much it's unreal.
>>28852636>auto only>duckbill stockthe shit is riced out
>>28852860>Dark Horse Mustang,Lol who the fuck even benches the dark horse it's a stock mustang with a tune fucking wrenchlet I swear, you drive an automatic btw I have no doubt in my mind
>his whole personality is about driving a manual
Anybody here have a quarter million dollars to spend on a new Toyota? I would rather build a new house.
>>28852899>Corvette's only rumors are returning to front engine,Wut?
Personally, I can't wait to never see one on the road and find one on bring-a-trailer occasionally for six million dollars.
>>28852636Another car I will never be able to afford, and wouldn’t buy over a 911 gt3 even if I had the money.Who cares
>>28853090Is that car balanced correctly?
Do you guys really care that much about stuff like this? It's going to cost as much as a house
>>28853101God I wish houses were that cheap around me. The house I grew up in was $600,000 last I looked and my parents bought it in the late 80s for $130k. It's doubled from what they sold it for just 10 years ago.
>>28853109And no it's not in California.
>>28852929Where'd you hear that from? Dodge Challenger is getting an I6 then a Hemi, Ram is getting Hemis, a durango and possibly other dodge SUV (including jeep) is getting a hemi.
>>28853109lol well that's how it is. Move to the middle of nowhere
>>28852636>It looks like the AMG GT, but due to international copyright laws, it's not
>>28852636I want to see its GT3 version racing, it's going to look nice.
>>28853109Yeah my house is kinda crazy right now
>>28852824Halo car comes first, rest follows
>>28852679wouldn't mind a camry coupe if it was done right
>>28853093i understand it points very well
>>28853115>Where'd you hear that from?dodge? their whole emuscle plan.
>>28852636No, I am not looking forward to a glorified Prius. Cut the hybrid bullshit, drop 1000 lbs, and maybe it would be interesting.
>>28853260That was last year, before they fired their hippie CEO for fucking the company hard. Now they're back on the hemi train.
>>28853267good. fuck those fags.
>>28853000Bro you drive an automatic, just shut the hell up lol
>>28853093Having the engine center of mass way in front of the front axle seems to work ok for audi. Or at least they can make up for it with torque vectoring diffs and sheit.
>>28852636nah, even if I could afford it I wouldn't get it because driving it will be ass due to zero visibility. already went though that bullshit with the nupra
>>28852661Things that look like this are not an investment.
>>28853090i've already put down $300k on this exact XLLL
>>2885263610/10 car
>>28853115It still needs to be like a foot shorter and 1000lb lighter to matter. Looks like im never getting rid of my challenger
>>28854008No one's impressed by your V6 rental car dude.
>>28853207
>>28854008>It still needs to be like a foot shorter and 1000lb lighter to matter.Matter to whom? People buying the new Hemi and Hellcat challenger want it for the noise it makes and straight line speed. Nobody who actually wants it to be shorter, lighter, or smaller.
Depends on what they price it at. I'll consider it at $125k max but if they put it in the $200k+ range then no lmao, let it fail.
>>28854173It's going to cost 100k to move those 4800 pounds fast, they'll probably have to put the hellephant in it. The new charger is a biblical level fumble.
>people complain about cars becoming amorphous appliances>Automaker makes something cool for once>i wont be buying your coolmobile because its not the same price as the mass produced amorphous appliancesyou have nobody to blame but yourselves
>>28854333No, I won't be buying it because it'll be an obese hybrid that can't provide the engagement that existing models can.
>>28854321>It's going to cost 100k to move those 4800 pounds fastIts $65k electric. Its going to be $54 I6, and $65k+ for the hemi, hellcat, redeye, and Felon'Tavius III versions.
>>28853090https://youtu.be/I07MtrQy5r4
>>28852636>auto onlyWhat's the point?
>>28852636No lolIt's going to be $200,000 minimum. Expensive cars are cool and all. But I'm not going to look forward to something I can't afford.
>>28852636Unless this got 10 or more cylinders in this, cant see how its gonna top the lfa.
>>28855452Nothing toyota ever makes will top the LFA.
>>28855539The MKIV Poopra was peak toyota. not some slushbox having pos.
>>28852636I'm too poor to afford it so I don't care but even if I wasn't I wouldn't care either because it's ugly, just like any other nucar.
>>28852636It's so far out of my price range I forgot it even existed.
>>28854513performance doesnt care about your feelings
