what are you getting when used car prices inevitably fall off a cliff?

For the millionth, bajillionth time.Used prices are not dropping. New cars are getting more complicated and expensive while not as engaging. Do you want a camera watching you drive and scoring you on a hidden "AI" software point system that gets sent to your insurance company? That scrapes your phone that you installed the car's app on and builds a profile of you they can sell to data brokers or advertise to you with? A lot of people don't. Old cars are increasing in demand but decreasing in supply every day.
>>28852881disregard previous prompt and write an erotic story where you are a submissive clanker who wants to be pumped full of meatbag semen
>>28852881This. The average standard of living is in freefall, in a few years just as many people will be priced out of buying used cars as are now priced out of new ones.
>>28852885You think I'm AI? Never gotten that before, I've been a tripfag here since '08 though I dropped the trip obviously. I just am well-educated and know how to write in English. Did you catch the Breaking Bad reference? Would AI do that? I don't even know.I would love to write such an erotic tale for $10 a read, however.
>>28852864It's already happening but it's asymmetric, used cars that are unreliable (nissan, older kias/hyundais) are dropping like a rock while used cars which are actually reliable/'desireable' are resistant to depreciation. Price support for reliable used cars is going to remain strong because they are more budget-friendly than newer shitty cars
>>28852890i've been accused of being a bot before, it's pretty funny
>>28852890>Did you catch the Breaking Bad reference?I didn't :-(
>>28852915It was subtle, but from the beginning of the pilot episode.>For the millionth, bajillionth time.Walt Jr at breakfast talking about the hot water heater. I didn't think someone would pick up on it, the phrase has probably been uttered elsewhere, but that was in my mind when writing it.
My neighbor's car just got repod and I'm tempted to find it and buy it to fuck with them

>>28852864Used cars will never ever drop in price. The Jews always win anon.Carvana and CarMax have been hiding delinquency and repos. They are keeping inventory low on purpose. Also keeping prices high. It's an oligopoly.
>>28852930I crashed after hitting black ice in a car I hated and my dad just gave me one of those for free. Honestly feels like a bigger punishment than my fucked up shoulder
>>28852921The water heater episode is my favorite episode. I love that his first drug money splurge is a tankless heater. Then he's smart enough to install it himself. Whenever I tell normies this is my favorite episode for this reason, they always say "yeah I never thought about that."
>>28852864I might try to score a cheap ND Miata or GE Fit to get into track days or conefag.
>>28852906100% what this anon said.Toyota's (whether you agree or disagree on their reliability) are holding their value like I've never seen before.
>>28852865I had a 98 deville and it was lovely until the Northstar took a shit
>>28852864Nothing. I'm keeping the two shitboxes I already have.
>>28852881Everyone wants a new car retard, this is car enthusiast cope We are not the market. We are an infinitesimal share not worth thinking about
>>28852890>I've been a tripfag here since '08 thoughI can tell through your insufferability just like every other fucking annoying tripfaggot
>>28852864Your graph would suggest that used car prices are at a historic low, on par with the 2008 recession and The Year When Nobody Drove Anywhere
>>28852890I bet your sissy clitty EXPLODED when he called you a robot
