What's the best way to get the remenants of this rain guard and the adhesive shit off?

I've heard of people using heat guns but I don't know what kind to get or what setting to put it on and I don't want to bake off my paint with it too.

Goo Gone will break down the remaining adhesive and is safe for paint.

if you wait until a hot summer day you can probably get most of the softening a heat gun would give you. Fishing line and soapy water is the usual way to get rigid stickers off. Citrus solvent glue remover should work for the glue remnants.
>>
scraper to get the plastic off, be careful
caramel wheel to get the adhesive off

you would have to get it absolutely scorching to damage the paint
